Going by recent sequel mania, I would suggest bad.
Of course, it could be something completely different....

There's no going back to the original two games, unfortunately.

If you're referring to the events of Thief 3, the ending DID leave a pretty decent opening. A damned fine one, I thought.

I have a sinking feeling that this new Thief game will be a third-person-only game with bloom and a cover system. I'm quite happy for Square Enix to prove me wrong, but I'm not too hopeful.
