Well, i can also update my situation... i decided to... sigh... smith.

But i'm using this online tip, i have like 40k gold (to use on NOTHING) so i'm buying/hoarding lether stuff and iron and build a bunch of daggers with the help of statue/sleeping/couple bed boosts to the experience.

Deep down on my heart i still know that i'll get disappointed with the "best armor" in the game... i just know it...

Crewdroog: Actually, that IS how you get it in Skyrim, right? That's how it was in Oblivion. Get hemophilia, don't get it cured and sleep a couple of days.
Yeah, you can do that, or just play Dawnguard. Very minor spoilers ahead: At one point, you're asked whether you'd like to become a vampire and join a vampire faction. The same question then gets presented to you later on if you opted not to.

End of minor spoilers.

I really liked the way Morrowind handled vampirism - when you contracted it and turned, you got automatically added to whichever clan has bit you (the other vampires still attacked you), and then got a couple of quests more or less unique to the said clan and access to their faculties. That was really awesome.

I think I'm gonna have to make snowkatt smith too, something I'm not looking forward to. But, if I want to punch dragons in the face and live, I think I'll need some dragon armor early on. I wish I could say you could enchant it to make it better, but I've always been kinda disappointed by what you can do with it. And yes, snowkatt will be enchanting. God, I hope this doesn't turn out boring. ;)

Wait, statue to boost? or are you talking about the shrines? I know there is a shrine to julianos or one of those ding-dongs that boosts your smithing.

Oh cool (morrowind). I never let myself get stricken with the disease (if I even contracted it). Though, I really didn't get far in morrowind cause running and the journal. Sigh, I wish I had played Morrowind before Oblivion...

Here you go - Morrowind on Oblivion engine. You need to own both to install it.

Oh god, i forgot the enchantment part, i just assumed i would have random enchantments given to my armours... Don't tell me i also need to level up that......... Sigh...

As for your question, i'm not good with the TES/Skyrim lore/names, i would assume that is what i'm talking about, *spoilers* it's some warrior statue (or shrine) near Riverwood that gives you 20% exp on smithing, i haven't found it (or looked for it) so i'm not sure.

I see. No, you didn't spoil anything :)

Hmm, from what I can remember about smithing, you can eventually improve magic items, but not make them. waa-waa

Crewdroog: I thank everyone sooo much for their input! After much thought, I have decided on my next roll. However, one person didn't create it, rather I think it was a combination of the efforts of Coelocanth (fist punch of death), siulebuo (be snowkatt) and snowkatt (hates khajiits). Since I can only post one "correct" answer, it will be siulebuo; I'll go and upvote some posts from the other guys. Fair is fair.

So yes, I will be snowkatt, a fist fighting Khajiit who will be turned vampire. She will dabble in some destruction magic, but when push comes to shove, she just beats the crap out of everyone. Since snowkatt hates cheese, anytime she comes in contact with it in game (sees it on a table, etc), she will grab it and throw it across the room, or take it and hide it in an abandoned shack. Cheese will be eliminated from Skyrim! From my convos with snowkatt, I know she hates bigots and xenophobes, so i will be fist punching all those guys. Someone makes a remark about me being a stinky Khajiit, BAM, fist to the face. I have a feeling I'm gonna be in jail. A LOT.

Also, since she hates haters, I have to side with the Imperial Army, cause the nords are the worst. She is anti-authority for the most part, so her main home will be with the Companions. I don't know how the vampire thing is gonna work; I've played vampire in Oblivion but not Skyrim, so we'll see how that changes things. She will try to join the mages guild to hone her natural destruction abilities, but the rules and structure will drive her bananas.

Here is a pic of the re-roll. I tried to make her as pretty and non-replusive as possible, snowkatt!

if you have any other quirks you think she should have, let me know :) thanks again for everyone's help!

Sigh, I asked for more input, but no one said anything...

Well, when I get far enough in the thieves guild, I'll get your hair fixed.
