Kind of disappointing, actually. The single Danish example from the end of the article was obviously made up specifically for that article (no, it is not a common curse in Denmark, I have never heard it before), which casts doubt on the validity of the whole thing.

Here is an example of an actual Danish curse: "May your ass itch and your arms be too short". We're not usually that long-winded in the curse department though. I'm guessing that one originally arose specifically as a parody of that type of curse from (I guess) China.

It depends on the form of thread. If it's a giveaway, or something particularly serious(such as a root canal or the like), then I see no insults and only safe, friendly conversation.

Now, more heated conversations, such as DRM or sexualization in games... everything goes to hell in threads like those...
