I think differently. Accepting a certain climate leads to many valuable opinions missing. Discussions will be less interesting because good voices are missing. But there is something we can do and I already proposed it. Everybody simply has to state whether he likes the rough climate or not and then with his/her posts stand by it. And from this thread you can see very nicely that people judge the roughness different which is natural but also that many people don't care much about it.

So what I want to say is that implicitly everybody decides by what he/she posts or doesn't post how the climate in this community will be.

Elmofongo: Well I just suffered being Downrepped for just asking a question about Netflix and no I could not find it in Google so I just ask any users here and I got downrepped probably because the GOG users thinks talking about non gaming topics is not allowed in the general forums. Even though we had plenty of non gaming topics and the mods allows it :P

Depends on your own definition of "insult", I think.

I rarely see childish regular-forum insults here.
What I do see is a lot of posts that, in my opinion, are insulting to peoples' intelligence. I notice a lot of condescension going on around here.

So I agree with the OP. I do see a lot of insults. Smug and condescending posts that underhandedly insult anyone who reads them.

Eh... Just ignore me please.
