I've recently finished the TW:EE and I have to say its probably the best game i've ever played. Here's hoping theres a sequel in the pipeline.
I just bought The Witcher EE off steam yesterday for about $30... played through the prologue and a bit of the first chapter, seems very good so far. In terms of picking skills to improve when leveling, is it possible to do a jack of all trades or is it better to specialize in combat or magic or whatever? I guess I'm asking whether the amount of bronze/silver/gold tokens you get is enough that by the end of the game you can pretty much have everything upgraded...

Nope, you won't gain enough experience to level-up all your skills. It's better to pick some areas and stick to them :)

figured... if you're going fighter style do you need intelligence at all? and for mage do I need anything but intelligence out of the strenght/dex/intelligence/stamina section?

You don't need it, but it will be most certainly a big help once you get into some serious fights - a well placed Aard or Igni can turn the tide of any battle.

You have to keep in mind that although signs are somewhat powerful, a witcher fights with his swords. Period. Magic can make a big difference, but you don't stand much of a chance if it's your only weapon.
And don't forget about potions... :>
Please CD Projekt Red release this hotfix on Steam. We are waiting for this and one week has been passed. All games on Steam get updated automaticly, Witcher EE must too.
I must confess that I've been taking to long to actually play it and i'm sorry, because it's brilliant.
The voice acting is a bit stiff, but the dialogues are more or less interesting.
Ladies and Gentlemen.
Thank you for attending this press conference on a such short notice.
I have a great pleasure to announce that my copy of Witcher after traveling over 16 thousand kilometers finally reached it destination. I currently hold in my heads this spectacular game and I am about to proceed with an install.
The wait has been long and hard but I have managed to endure it. Now the day has finally come!
Thank you and Jehovah bless.
Lukasz
Amen.
How many heads do you have?

cogadh: How many heads do you have?

Hands god dammit. HANDS!
or if I can be childish:
I received a head yesterday if you know what I mean. So that makes two!

Lukasz Beeblebrox the Great?
Oh wait, Zaphod had that extra head added when he was elected President, it's not an inherited trait. Gotta be another explanation....

Damn, you're right! Been too long since I visited HGTG....
Radioactive kangaroo bite?? Nah, that would just give him a pouch of holding and wicked jumping powers...
I know!
Radioactive beer! If you can't find a logical explanation for something, then radioactive beer was surely the cause of it!
Damn! Is a zombie thread!
