Anyone else looking forward to this game/patch?
I've held off on buying the original version, because I'd like to get a boxed retail release of the EE with any extra goodies. (Plus the size of the patch will probably make my internet data cap cry.)
I will buy the Enhanced Edition. I only wait for the release.
I'm actualy came here from theWitcher forum. I'm a fanboy so don't trust me when I say it's one of the best RPGs I played in years. beats Bio(clean)Ware by lengths (maybe not in polish). but this will go away with the enh.edition.
I already own the game and will get the updates for free (!) but since I'm a fan, I ordered the EnhEdition physically as well.
Didn't realise CD Projekt were involved in GOG. I pre-ordered the EE box yesterday and can't wait for it to arrive!
Best cRPG since Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines, I'll download EE patch when it comes out.

I've got the collector's edition so buying enhanced version would be nonsense, but I agree about the greatness - The Witcher is in my top 5 cRPG ;)
I am waiting for the new version, too.
Seems to be a great role playing game!
Me too, I've been waiting for this one. Should be out next week in the UK. Can't wait! Oh, I best go and introduce myself on the other thread!!
I bought the special edition of The Witcher for my brother as a gift (of course I ended up playing a bit of it too) and it really is one of the best PC cRPGs I have ever played. Sure, it did have bugs (extremely long loading times) but the storyline is just fantastic.
As soon as I heard that CDProjekt were releasing the enhanced edition I was literally gob-smacked. It has to be one of the first times (at least from what I can remember anyway) where a developer has re-released a game with more polish and fine-tuning for absolutely free (if you've already bought The Witcher however). If EA were to do something like this, you can bet your bottom dollar that they'd charge everyone for it, even those who already owned the game.
To sum things up, I can't wait for the Enhanced Edition, mostly because I want to buy a copy for myself. :P

No. I've played the first act of the non-enchanded version and it was deadly boring. Go there, kill dozen of enemys, return, bang a chick, kill another dozen of enemys, return, bang another chick, deinstall the game. But I never liked hack and slash games. Heck, I've never even finished any of the Diablo games.
I have yet to play The Witcher, but I will likely check into the new edition. It looks like it could be pretty fun!
The Witcher is one of my favourite games, I'm really looking forward to the enhanced edition.
I'm still thinking about buying the box, but I already own the "normal" collectors edition, so I guess I'll just download it.
Thanks guys, that you like both of our creations :-)
We do our best. Hopefully it is just a beginning ;-)

Hehe, I had no idea the guys that made The Witcher were the guys behind this :)
I have the original Collector's Edition of The Witcher, and I'll be downloading the EE patch on the 19th, as well as buying the physical EE itself come payday at the end of the month.
And I've never got further than the first village either, as I held off playing the game any further once I heard about the EE.

coryza: Go there, kill dozen of enemys, return, bang a chick, kill another dozen of enemys, return, bang another chick

Seriously? This was boring to you? How does this not entirely encompass every gamer's secret fantasy life?
That said, I'm holding off on playing the copy of the Witcher that I bought a month or so ago until the EE hits.
