Does W:EE still use TAGES?
No copy protection in Witcher: EE

Fenixp: No copy protection in Witcher: EE

Sweet :) I ordered it last sunday from play.com. I was expecting it to arrive today. Hopefully it should arrive tomorrow morning.
I was reading some reviews in the meantime. It appears there are conflicting reports on amazon about what W:EE contains DRM wise.
Still no trace of the game in Spain retail stores...
Any new on this, Mikee?; I don't want to buy it in the Atari digital store (too much DRM).
Greylord, the game is not coming to Spain's stores. I've already bought mine from Blahdvd (it's like 10€ cheaper than Play.com)
Good to see another spanish folk in here.
If we are discussing Witcher here's a couple of questions for the devs. Do the language patches completely change the language of the game? Meaning menus, text, books, cutscenes, whatever? As EE is simply not avalible here, I am considering buying the Russian version and then installing the EE patch and the English language pack. Will the game be completely in English for me? Also there was some talk about DRM, from what I understand, TAGES is not limiting the legitimate user in any way, and does not install any drivers or conflict with any programs, is that correct?

Well, if not having posts for 8 days turns a thread into a 'dead' one, yes, you're right.

Hi, Pixel ;).
Thanks for the reply, how much does Blahdvd charge you for post and packing?.
Price seems very good, maybe I'll take the plunge and order.

LOL, it seems I edited my reply at the same time you were posting yours.
I realised the thread is not really 8 days old, but 8 days without posts; not the same thing, so I edited accordingly.
You're welcome, no offense was taken ;).

EE should be available in CIS countries (and in every country where oryginal TW was published, with exeption of Spain and Hungary). ND shipped small quantity but will be shipping more. Language packs change the game completly incuding menus.
Regarding protection I don't know what is the final result, but it was supposed to be as light and non-intrusive as possible

Shipping is just 1 pound (24€ game +shipping) and it took four days to arrive.

That hurts...
I'll buy TWEE from a foreign store; but please, for your next game, make sure we can get it anywhere we live.
I don't like to be left behind while other countries get the game :(.
