Could not agree more. I have removed my Steam and Stardock games and will never use them again. For me personally, Stardock is worse than Steam. At least Steam is up front about their DRM, but Stardock tries to sell itself as No DRM when Impulse is their DRM. You cannot update or download anything for your game apart from Impulse. Impulse is not an option, it is mandatory and thus is a form of DRM.
In fact Stardock has even broken its own Gamers Bill of Rights by selling DRM laden games, but of course since Brad tells you it has it on the purchase page, that makes it all OK.
Stardock will only get worse as Brad has made it clear that what he cares about is profits, and if DRM games will make him a profit you will see it.
