StingingVelvet: I'm going to throw them $5 for this as appreciation but honestly I am not sure where the excitement comes from. I mean if there are people who have avoided The Witcher for all these years despite it being readily available and DRM free then have at it I guess, go nuts, but your procrastination is truly astounding.
Actually, this didn't come off as derogatory to me as I'm one of the very very few gamers that I know that hangs back in time waiting for new releases to be discounted, patched and Platinum Editioned.

One of things my father put in my head when I was a kid was that new tech is always going to have some sort of glitches or bugs so it's always best to make due with the older generation stuff and wait until the new stuff is affordable and actually works properly.

Miaghstir: I'll wait a couple of weeks for The Witcher to go up to $10 though.
You could always buy two copies tomorrow and gift one to a friend.

I could, but I'm in no hurry as I already have the EE on disc, with physical books and the music as audio CD. I'll wait because I didn't reimburse CDP for my enjoyment, only filling Game's already fat pockets through a second-hand copy.

If anyone from GoG is reading this, tomorrow is spelt wrong on the gamecard webpage for The Witcher.
I already own the Enhanced Edition but I'm picking it up whilst it's cheap just for the Calender..... *looks around* and the artbook, and the other exclusive extras. It'll be the 3rd time I've bought the game but I see it as worthwhile and am happy to support the publishers as they doubled back on console-ifying the series and I want to keep it a PC Exclusive as I think it's the kind of game that would suffer greatly if it was a console port on pc.

carnival73: Heaven forbid anyone develop a healthy sexual interest in women. 0_o
Computer games are made exactly for to inhibit and remove all healthy sexual interest in women. Overpopulation is one of the greatest challenges of our time. The powers that be have created and supported the computer games industry to get kids into computer games before they have fully developed sexually and socially.

There is currently a division between America and Europe over which strategy that should be pursued regarding sex in games. In America it is thought that sexuality in games should be avoided as much as possible to make the gamers completely asexual.
We do however think that sexuality is hard to drain away completely so it is better to integrate sex in games so it can replace the sex lives of computer game users in the way that social applications replace the (real life) social lives of its users. My belief is that we get a lower reproduction rate by including more sexuality in computer games. There is currently some studies being done that will bring more light up on the subject. What is well known is that the reproduction rate in Europe is a lot lower than in the USA.

Uh, The first Witcher was never censored in New Zealand (Where it says you are from) or in Australia, the UK, etc.

Only place I ever heard about it being censored was the USA.

The Witcher 2 will be censored if you put "Australia" or "New Zealand" in your location setting in your account settings page. It will not be censored if you put "United States"

Not that anyone would ever lie of course..

We get Aussie's version, no matter what when games are released.

Interesting that this particular game was baby-safed for the American audience.

Naa, you guys have your own rating system and usually get your own version of the game, for some reason this time around New Zealand is getting the censored version of The Witcher 2 for some reason though. I think it's because the publisher can't be bothered printing 2 different types of the game.
