Lol, The Witcher 3 isn't even out and they're also working in Cyberpunk 2077, i SERIOUSLY doubt it.

If Witcher 4 happens at all, it will not be 2017. The first one was in 2007, the second in 2011, and the third will be in 2015. That's 4 years between games, no way another happens in just two.It's CD Projekt Red and the Witcher, not Ubisoft and Assassin's Creed.

Of course, SOMETHING might happen in that time, and I doubt Wild Hunt will be the last we see of Geralt. I for one would probably enjoy Tales of The Witcher from TellTales, if CD Project could make a deal with therm like Gearbox did about Borderlands.

They working on The Witcher Battle Arena and recently released The Witcher Adventure Game, I think it safe to assume we will see more spinoff games.

IMHO, the only credible source is CDR or GOG in an official release. Until then, all we will have is speculation. Perhaps after Wild Hunt is release, we will know more. Given the sucess of the franchise, it is a valid question.

Didn't the leaked documents a while ago reveal that The Witcher 4 is indeed coming despite earlier announcements that The Witcher 3 is going to be the finale? But I agree with the others: 2017 is very hard to believe, especially considering the delays of The Witcher 3. Of course they could get quicker, though. The company has grown an insane amount, they have made the transition to the next gen just early enough to (probably) be able to release the next Witcher game in the same gen which should make things a bit easier. Who knows.

I remember reading something along the lines that W3 will be the end of Geralt's story, but not necessarily the end of other possible future Witcher games.

actually, not impossible, just highly unlikely


Witcher is their main source of income so they will prioritize the franchise, and Bioware also worked on ME 2 and 3 at the same time as on DA 2 and + and their Star Wars MMO. Of course the team behind Witcher is much smaller and not corrupted/backed by EA.
