So have there been any reports on the game being hacked/pirated ect?
Video game + available commercially = yes, there will be piracy.

Okay that's not what I meant let me reiterate.

-GOG released it DRM free
-Lost of sales because of this?

My question is have they seen/reported x amount lost since they released it via GOG?

They wouldn't put it that way, because they don't view pirated games as lost sales.

Why would there be. Someone willing to plunk down $44.99 on a new game isn't suddenly going to turn around and pirate the game because it's drm-free. Pirates make all games drm-free in the end. There's no difference here. Just less effort to distribute it.

How exactly would they know this, you genius?
The game is riding high in the charts and even climbs back up when Steam sales end. It's proving pretty resilient sales-wise and looks set to remain strong for a while yet. I doubt CDPR are crying over the 'lost sales' to people who would never have bought the game, either due to economic woes or some retarded sense of principal.
Even the toughest drm is easily cracked usually so i doubt they had anymore "lost sales" than is usual because they decided to ditch the drm.
Here is an example of what I mean.

For me it's DRM that results in lost sales, not the lack of it. That doesn't go for all DRM, mind you. But there's plenty of nasty crap out there that stops me from buying games.
I just looked on "a site" and the links I saw were all of the same copy, looked like a cracked version of the DVD .iso. The GOG version wasn't even there.

I rarely buy games with strict drm anymore. Ive had lots of problems with Relic games due to the drm. I eventually cracked Company of Heroes but i was unable to even install Dawn of War 2 and that crap has made me decide against buying any of their games in the future until they decide to go drm free.

Their is a GOG version on the site i checked but it isn't being downloaded as much as the dvd version.
