In this thread I will give away a gift code containing The Witcher 2.

Due to unnerving rumors about scripts that steal gift codes, I decided to make this a draw instead of just publish the code. So everyone is free to enter,though the cap for this will be 50.

So, everyone who is interested in this game, post a comment telling why you want this game. I will update this first post with names of the participants. I will not accept participants who have registered today (july 18) since I don't want people to cheat with alt accounts.

The draw for TW2 is made (using random.org) and the winner is notified

If the 16 dollar freebies are giftable too, I will give them away also (I don't know if they can be given away)

If you are going to edit some of your post to insert picture bot can still detect this and let its owner know.
Both options are not good for me for such big prize.

Anyway, I totally suck at designing competitions, but if you guys want this to be a prize for a comp then tell me in this thread. Would it be more fair? What kind of competition would you like?

I've been pondering on that problem for a little while now and I am rather confident that I found a very neat solution ;)
I'm just waiting for a game I really love to appear in the hidden gem promotion, unless you want to try it yourself, then I'd certainly share my idea with you.

As I said that indeed would be more fair if it requires some activity from user to do something. It shouldn't be too hard but also it should require something to win, some kind of knowledge maybe.

One idea could be to copy one of previous GOG's contest to recognize games by a part of their GOG's screenshot. Many new games since that time so there should be a little harder. Its kind of easy contest, just require to spend "a few hours" and it should be bot-proof also, lol :)

Not really undetectable, but I'd wager the code would take a while to be redeemed, even through humans ;)
