I am wondering how many different DLC has CDPR made available to different retailers and sellers? Zavvi.com has a "Finisher pack", that "Includes 2 new finisher animations and advanced fighting techniques motion-captured for this DLC.", while Play.com had some kind of armour which I am too bored to search for now.

Are all these DLC gonna be available later as a bonus or as purchasable material, or will they simply be available in their respective particular versions and that's that?

PS: I suppose someone from GOG DOES know.
Also Game.co.uk has 2 bonus merchants according to the box instore...

Apart from it being (kind off depending on perspective) DRM free, if we dont get some (at least 1) of these we may be getting the shitty end of the stick when it comes to missing content
There are preorder/presale 6 DLCs

Good question. We should put it on the list.

I just PM'd our PR guy to ask :-P

Edit:

Maybe we should bombard The EnigmaticT's PM box...

Not sure, as noone from GOG staff responded to my question regarding this case.
I am wondering this also thanks
A reply from Mr E T

"Not to my knowledge. All the other stores get their own exclusive pre-download whatsis as an incentive to buy there. Obviously, if you don't buy there, you don't get the holy whatsis.

There's likely gonna be fan mods that add that stuff back in, if that's how you roll."
eh, they're mostly crap anyways, basically just some armours with fancy flashy stuff, and some npcs that will probably sell completely overpowered "cheat-items".
If those DLCs are of the level of the "new weapons and fancy armors" DLC pack for ME2, then I prefer my The Witcher 2 without them, thank you.
We've got one armor (afaik best armor in game), one merchant who sells stuff that in normal game are available later in game, unique battle technics, mage/alchemist/swordsman pack (unique items + your character is better mage/alchimist/swordsman)

That's typical. It kind of irritates me because short of spending way too much money there's no way that you can get all of them.

i wouldn't worry about that, they'll probably get realeased a couple of months later in some sort of DLC pack anyways.

The typical way of doing this nowadays is to bring out a GOTY edition half a year later including all DLCs published so far while also announcing new DLCs that will not be part of the GOTY edition but part of a later edition (Gold, Complete, Ultimate, Extended, Premium, Limited, ...).
