Bring back the old Geralt!
His pansy ponytail and bland face doesn't do it for me.
Should be a great game though.
Can Geralt walk in OTS ? That's what i want to know.

Aliasalpha: I've never seen a website fuck my system up like that one does (even mega flash strewn rubbish lags less) and ads before each video?

If you create an account and log in you can download videos directly in WMV/QuickTime/etc. That's what I do for almost all videos there.
Failing that, Adblock Plus says hi. :)

Adblock circumvents the video ads that roll before the real video?

Aliasalpha: Potentially good but hampered with awful controls.

Fenixp: You too Brutus!?

Fraid so, the game istelf looked good but when I tried it at a friend's place, I came away with a sense of disappointment with the controls. Not quite as bad as the pile of shit that is resident evil 5 but still awful

Could well be, I didn't see any ads and have AB+ installed as well.
New video and preview.

Good preview.
Sounds like they got Doug Cockle to reprise his role for Geralt (unless they recycled a line from the first game).
I'm pumped. The Witcher was great & the sequel looks really good so far. I like the sound of some of the changes they're making so far. It'll be nice not to have the painfully long load times, although as I recall I did get a lot of reading done during those periods of time. Either way, I'm glad we're hearing more about it & it's definitely one of my most anticipated games.

Summit: Well it's a trailer so i doubt they'll make any major changers in the graphics department when the game comes out. I guess we're stuck with Geralt's new appearance after all. I'll have difficulties getting used to it though.
Believe me you do need to play the first one. If you read the books and loved it you're in for a treat.

Paradoks: If enough people complain then they may do something about it. At least I hope so.

Do you have any idea how many people complained about the ponytail on Geralt's head? It was a mass hysteria on witcher forum (i cannot understand it frankly since that was hero's hair style in Sapkowski's novels) and they did nothing about it. Now that the trailer is out they can't do anything. It would be like changing the cast in a movie after the official trailer.

But there was no reason to change the ponytail :P.
People were complaining about hair animation before original Witcher's release (based on pre-release videos) - it was improved. People had all sorts of complaints about the game after it was released - the result is Enhanced Edition.
Now people have complaints about Geralt's face, and I hope it will be taken into account.
The ponytail is a different thing - it makes sense. It is faithful to the source material (which in my opinion is much more important than people's opinions) and it doesn't hinder Geralt's fighting ability (unlike his previous haircut).
His face on the other hand simply doesn't look right.
I am one of the few who didn't enjoy the original and for the life of me don't know why. Oh well, nifty trailer, I just won't buy.
look forward to getting home to be able to view this.
The trailer looks great. The voice acting is spot on.
I like some of the subtle aspects of the video, like the fact that the design on his leather shield is stitched in. It seems more believable for the setting to have it stitched. It's a tiny thing, but it suggests a little bit more thought went into the design.
I'm looking forward to the release.
