That is more than enough; it should be able to give you a good frame rate at Ultra (with Ubersampling off). Any card from the GTX 460, HD 5850, HD 6850, and up should be able to do Ultra at a playable 30 fps; go with an HD 6950, GTX 560ti, or better if you want more.

I have to differ with the motherboard selection, just because AMD is about to release its Socket AM3+ CPUs, and that motherboard will not accommodate one (or if it will, it will not run it at full performance). You'll want a Socket AM3+ motherboard, even if you populate it with a Phenom II x4 or x6 for now. ASUS, MSI, and Gigabyte all have AM3+ motherboards available.

I would select a different drive. Those Seagate Barracuda drives were a disaster when they came out; and if you get one that was from the production run before the problems were fixed, it will probably fail catastrophically. Go with Western Digital, either Caviar Black or any of the "RE" series (Caviar Black == RE3).

Because of the imminent release of the AMD "Zambezi" CPUs, I would probably save a few quid and get a Phenom II x4 instead of the x6. You can get the faster 3.2 to 3.5 GHz x4's for less than the 2.8 GHz x6.

Also get 8GB instead of 4GB. RAM is inexpensive right now, and the game will use 4GB just for itself, squeezing Windows out to the pagefile.

You mean 1440x900? That's the resolution which the game is benchmarked.

That would be a misprint for "1440x900". Screen resolution. The more pixels you have to push to the screen, the lower your frame rate. For example, your chosen GTX 570 will do 67 fps at 1680x1050, dropping to 54 fps at 1920x1200.

I don't know UK suppliers that well, but I'll try. Overclockers UK is a good one.

Motherboard: ASUS M5A99X EVO £115

CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 955 (3.2 GHz) £84

(You can get a faster one and spend more, or you can take this one and overclock it easily.)

RAM: Corsair XMS3 DDR3-1600 (2x4GB) £62.39

GPU: ASUS HD 6950 "DirectCU II" £180

or: Gainward GTX 560Ti "Phantom" £200

(There are better deals on the 560Ti, but Overclockers shows them as "out of stock".)

HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB £38

(Avoid the Samsung F1 and Seagate Barracuda; they are troublesome. Overclockers' prices on Western Digital drives are much too high.)

If I did the arithmetic right, that's £571 to £591, for the tower and everything that goes in it. And it should play TW2 on Ultra (less Ubersampling) with no problems.

I have somewhat bastard computer.. I think that it will reap all of your computer. it works but.. I don't have any (many) problems.. gamemotor will still be an asshole, like in crysis 2. but both are good games.
So those extra quests, which have nothing.. Non of those are made CD-red?

I've got a pretty similar setup to what cjrgreen is recommending so I can't see any problems with what you've got there.

You might want to source components from more than one store though. I can definitely recommend Oyyy. Customer service is second to none there. Overclockers have a reputation as bastards to deal with so you better hope that nothing goes wrong with your order if you order from there.

What I mean is that you can take out the old CPU, put in the new one (and put its cooler on), and hit the power button; that's all it will take to upgrade the CPU.

We don't quite know how good the "Zambezi" series are, yet; AMD has been trying to tell us that they will equal the Intel "Sandy Bridge" CPUs, but their claims have fallen short of the mark for at least three generations now.

Whatever they are, they should exceed the Phenom II's by enough to make a drop-in replacement worthwhile.

hypothetically speaking... lets just say i bought all the parts. how would i put them all together could i send them off to someone to build a pc? what could i do?

I have a bit old shaisse mut..
It wil be never the same.
I runned W2 quite good but I just played W1.
I'll play something else unless those will make patches good and working.
I see w1 and W2 as a different game.
I would hate that that I played W1 expansion.. it was good.. but I played 2 months, so I say.. Fuck.. show boobs and give me antother game.
