I'm in for Grimrock. Thanks for your message, Thespian*!

Two things that always take longer than I expected:

1. Getting ready in the mornings

2. Finding an answer for Thespian*'s contests!

Cheers!

I'd like to enter for the Legend of Grimrock. Thanks for the giveaway Thespian* and thanks to ISC and Ian as well. Good luck everybody :)

Oh and what tasks always take longer than I expect? Shopping. I think I'll be in there and out in just a couple of minutes and before I know it an hour or 2 has passed.

Doing bike repairs. This usually applies to all sorts of other repairs as well, but for whatever reason whenever I start working on my bike, even for something very, very simple, it ends up taking hours and hours longer than it ought to. The worst time being when I was biking over to the garage (I use a co-op garage) to do something incredibly minor and my seat fell off while going through an intersection. It was chained on so I didn't lose it, but just getting new parts and putting everything back together ended up taking about three or four hours.

The other answer, of course, is playing Civilization, MOO, or any other 4X. Nobody should be able to sit through playing 17 straight hours of a game without noticing it, but it's happened more times than I can recall.

Grimrock please.

Great giveaway and thanks a bunch for the chance! :D

I'll be in for Legend of Grimrock, good luck to all who participate!

Edit: Oops, thanks for the heads up, OP!! Failed to readthe whole post properly it seems :D

What takes me longer than expected? Studying any Chinese word that is not in the list of the most often used ones .... And well, decisions too.
