I like RPG's because i like tactical combat (excluding action RPG's?) with fantasy setting and character development, good story is a plus of course.

Get the Circle of Eight mod! It fixes and improves the game in all manner of nice ways :-)

RPG are probably the only game that allow for real immersion, since they force you to identify yourself with your character. Obviously, this only works if done right..

I like RPGs mostly for their world. If the game's world is dull as bricks, then this game isn't for me.

I'm IN; I like rpg's, because of the diversity of the quests, the big worlds that you can explore, the character creation and the atmosphere.

As I recall, playing vanilla at all is not advised as the Circle of Eight mod fixes many bugs. Maybe you are thinking of the separately installable additional content also available with the Circle of Eight mod but which is purely optional. Considering what the optional content provides though, personally I don't know why anyone would really want to install less than the full package from the start.
