michaelleung: Dude, I loved Just Cause! I bought it on Gamersgate a few days ago and I'm enjoying every moment of it. Sure, the visuals aren't 360-grade (they ported the original Xbox's version to the PC instead), but I really enjoyed playing it, and I can't wait for the sequel.

Navagon: Really? The game must have undergone some major patching since the demo then as you couldn't even change the controls in that. That's something you can even expect of console games but with PC games it's absolutely essential. Just Cause fell at that first vital hurdle.

I just used the 360 controller for Just Cause.

If the demo is anything to go by, that's all you are meant to use.

Never played the demo.

DarthKaal: First though of this game while reading thread title.
Thanks for unintentionally bring back some good memories. ;p

That game rocked, you never saw so much blue before! Blue AND ninja's, it had it all!
As for the modern game, it looks like it has potential to be interesting but I'm thinking its one where I wait for a demo before deciding. That or wait a month and look at all the negative reviews to see if they make consistent and valid points

I think perhaps it would have been better if I hadn't. That is unless you can't change controls in the full game too.
Thanks for The Saboteur trailer! I think it looks really interesting! I love the idea about the colour seeping back in as you progress!
(Also, I Loved Just Cause.. lol)
*Sigh* Another cool-looking game that my computer almost certainly will not support...
Thanks for the trailer link. I've been keeping an eye out for this for a while. The idea is interesting.

Do you have a console? Use that.
Jeebus! The system requirements for the game have been released and it's huge!

Quad core? Damn, I'm probably not going to bother with this one for quite some time then.
I just watched a trailer and I think I'll be crossing it off my christmas list, looks a bit too 'generic 3rd person shooter'

Mafia 2 definitely looks a lot better right now. Especially given the pedigree of the predecessor and the fact that reviewers who got to play it are already saying that it's amazing as it is.
Well yeah, I don't expect much competition for Mafia 2 really, the first one one of the most stylish and awesomely polished games I've ever played (that and PoP Sands Of Time)

My heart sank when you said they were huge, but the minimum req is dual core so I'll be alright. Let's just hope it's not poorly optimised like GTA IV, where the game actually needs 8x the system requirements...
