Well if you must see it you should probably see it in a theater where a Rocky Horror cult dresses up and sees it together.

You mean the movie or going to watch it in a theater or...?
The movie is good. Good music, and that's coming from someone who dislikes musicals in general. Tim Curry is great in just about all he does.

I've never experienced the show in a theater where people all dress up and act everything out, but that would be something to see. Few places do that nowadays though because the theater becomes quite messy.
I'm thinking about call my friends to watch it tomorrow, and I heard that this movie is great to watch with friends

If they're all into it, I'm sure you'll have a good time! Be sure to report back on how it went.
I watched it by myself a couple of years ago and didn't really get what's so great about it - maybe it's different if you're watching it with others.

On a related note, you should watch Troll 2 with your friends if you can. Absolutely hilarious.

If the place allows you to bring props and stuff, definitely go for it. That's the "full" experience for that show.

You gotta see it with friends at a midnight show (being a little tired helps amplify the experience) and at a place that allows props. If you want to know what to do at the right time, see the DVD version that adds subtitles telling you what to do.

Enjoy!

It's astounding.
Watching the Rocky Horror Picture Show is compulsory if you want to be taken seriously. The initiation can be a bit rough though, and may leave the first-time viewer with a thorough "WTF" expression. But after a couple more viewings, you'll get the cues and you'll be able to participate. Of course, throwing popcorn at a canvas isn't as good as taking part in a live performance (including the orgy in the pool), but it's probably less dangerous as well, so it's a good start. Take the time warp to the 70s!
I loved it even though I just watched the film by myself without the yelling and props

Time is fleeting....
Audience participation movie showings are the best way to see it, not many do them because clean up afterwards is a bitch with all the rice thrown about.

But yeah, one of my favourite movies.

My girlfriend is obsessed with it but whatever makes her happy. It's okay I guess.
