The same guy (Zachary Chesser) who posted the "threat" on Revolution Muslim, while it sounded threatening, did not sound overly hostile just by itself. His twitter post, however says otherwise:
"On one of his Twitter pages, Chesser posted on April 15: "May Allah kill Matt Stone and Trey Parker and burn them in Hell for all eternity. They insult our prophets Muhammad, Jesus, and Moses."
Boo FUCKIN' Hoo! =)
I wonderwhat an episode of South Park involving Mohammad giving abortions would make these guys do. Bunch of whiny ass bitches, like me.
I love what Jon Stewart said about it. Even funnier when he pointed out Revolution Muslim was based in New York City, which is possibly the last place you'd want to live if you were a religious fanatic extremist Muslim person.

That I didn't know.
Not much news about it here.

They might sign a cease fire or piece treaty with conservative Christians.
I'm quite sure the Catholic church could use some news to draw attention away from other subjects.

HertogJan: That post your Mohammed drawing wouldn't work.
In most Islamic countries the internet is highly filtered to keep unwanted content away from people.
They often name porn, but a lot of democratic and human rights content is also filtered.
Such "news" in those countries is often used to focus people's emotions and attention towards foreign people and countries in order to keep the focus away from their own problems.
The more fanatic religious people are, the more intolerant they are.
It's not bound to Islam, followers from other religions are capable of doing the same.

Don't you just love the irony in that?

Absolutely and for various reasons.
I welcome the initiative, only good things can come out of it.
It is just incredibly stupid that there are people willing to make death threats (and even carry them out) when they CHOOSE to see something that's not entirely to their liking.
This is just plain silly.
The thing is, there are tons of things I don't like, my solution to that is that I try not to watch or listen to those things and if I am exposed to it I won't let it touch me that much.
That way I have loads of time and energy to spend on the nicer things in life.
If only these people will do the same they could do stuff like read a book, go for a nice walk, or find a cure for cancer instead of burning flags and forcing women to be dressed in mailbags and getting angry at every whim and mutilating little children, etc. etc..
Welcome to the 21st century
:)
