Interesting side effect of the self-PMing seems to be that those who PM'd themselves are unable to receive any more PMs. I did try to PM tinyE twice, and while the message did appear to be posted, subsequent visit to the PM page doesn't show them.

Unless it's tinyE's fault of course, always a valid option.

Let me try to PM you again then. Worse case scenario, I post the picture here.

Edit: Seems to not like the links I try to post. Unsure what part of the url causes it to fail, so time to pester tinyE with picture links!

Opened messages in a new tab, sent the message, navigated back to community. Half an hour later I check, message hadn't been sent.
Repeated the same, same deal.
Next try, after tinyE said he was getting PMs, I sent two consecutive PMs, one link, one stating "try 2". Try 2 passed, the link didn't.

CDN image links from 9gag and pinterest. The Pinterest page did seem to work when sent as a link though.
Removing the http:// part from the CDN image link didn't help, even though it was just text at that point.

Yup - exact same problem I had with dropbox and some others - I always figured it was maybe some spam filtering going on though.
