Nope, 3 of my friends got theirs but I was stupid and waited too long to buy mine and 4 others. I was seriously crushed about that.

I was worried a bunch of folks didn't jump immediately would be left out. I actually wonder if scalpers snatched them up or something else, PAX Prime has never sold 3 day badges even remotely that quickly, I'd have to check but I'm pretty sure they lasted 3 weeks or more last year and in 2010 they sold out near end of June or something.

This might make this a very different PAX, which is probably not a good thing. If the tickets all went to the attenders then I guess it'll probably be okay.

It sounds like there's no real shenanigans going on, just 200,000 people that want to go to a show with 60,000 tickets...

Resurrecting thread for meetup discussion. Is there going to be one? I can't completely guarantee my presence yet, but it's looking like I should be able to show up.

So you coming? Anyone else want to meet up for a beer Thursday night? We can do The Taphouse again, or it was slammed last year, so we can always pick a less popular venue as well (I'm getting better at finding fun little bars in Seattle!).

I will be going to PAX, but unfortunately due to the LoL Regionals being held there, and the speed at which the tickets sold out, I am unable to actually attend anything in the convention center. I am going because my wife is working at one of the game booths, and there is a possibility of me being able to work as well.

@orcishgamer - When I was in Seattle two years ago, one of my friends decided to break off from the group during the Sega party at Gameworks, and went adventuring through the streets. When I finally found her, we found a hole-in-the-wall bar that was pretty busy, but it looked more like locals than anyone from PAX. It's over by the Space Needle, and it's called the 5 Point Cafe. It was pretty interesting in there, and quite friendly. (422 Cedar Street)
