We're all in the Default League. I don't think anyone's in HC yet.

If anyone does wish to make a HC character you're likely to die due to stability just now, however, you are simply kicked into the Default League when you die (your stash stuff may stay in the HC league as stash is shared between toons on the same league, but I'm not 100% sure on this one).

This one doesn't matter but for anyone reading, Act 3 is considered a "spoiler" still by the community, so don't go into boss details or anything:)

I haven't actually played the game yet spent a lot of time researching game mech (man its pretty complex if you want to optimize at all) and thinking of a few builds for the past few days. Probably gonna mostly play HC.

I haven't had much game play experience but from studying the tree/researching maybe you can try...
Chaos Inoculation build with shadow duel claws for leech( get Vaal Pact and Ghost reaver so you can leech ES instantly) focus on pure energy shield, duel wield dmg, attack speed, crit, phy dmg for leech, frenzy. As for attribute dex than int and evasion and use Iron reflex to convert all that evasion into armor if playing hc if not i think evasion probably fine. For spell just use aura/buff.
Now the problem with spellsword in this game is if you go melee and still want cast dmg spell you have to get both spell/ele dmg passives and melee passive which makes you too unfocused and lower the max potential dmg for both categories. You can get a elemental dmg melee weapon but only phy dmg leeches unless you use leech support gem. so maybe use bear trap instead of spell? idk

Cool. Let me know if you need any help with the bosses. I'm done with my current Shadow build until they fix the desync issues, especially with Whirling Blades and Flicker Strike. Probably will go back to my necro Witch or roll a Ranger.

Did the last patch fix your issues?

Not sure, but I'm still getting regular desyncs even when I play my Witch, so I doubt things have improved much with the Shadow.

Guys how hard is vaal normal? it's my first time playing through the game and afraid to lose my melee templar on hardcore. lvl 29 around 950hp but if i switch gear for max lightning resist probably around 850-900. Man I was right in front of his zone and thought about it for a long time and chickened out lol. This is so different than playing hardcore for d3 where you don't really even worry about dying until after lvl 60, I love it.

Oh and I haven't been desynced at all after the patch for like 2 days now I wasn't desynced that much before through but still once in awhile. There are some rubberband lag through.
