Congratulations !
I've dreamed of making a football manager where the calculations are no Black Box where you have to guess what the developers want you to do, you know exactly what the chances were for winning and loosing, what was luck and what was skill.
congrats =^.^=

as for dream game i would love a space sim where you pilot a ship you can be a pirate, trader or whatever you want like a normal sim but you can go to and land on planets and walk around them in a 3rd person shooter style and such not just a space sim but a space sim with exploration of planets not just galexys and new space pirates to shoot
Hey congrats there! Glad to know you made it! :D

As for the giveaway, my dream game is a Castleroid/Metroidvania where you can explore a HUGE place, gain powerups, with great animation like Symphony of the NIght, drop-in drop-out COOP, a great story, epic boss fights that just feel epic, different characters to choose to play, subquests, optional areas, well.... man... a game like that! With also exploring encouragement and a level up system! Where you can use any kind of weapon and magic.

Woah, that would take EONS to make O:!
BUMP!
Belated congrats! Enjoy it, and stop by Poland on one of those 'exchange student' deals sometime. Cheers for fueling the gifting spirit!

I'd love to see an FMV adventure with high production values, a star studded cast (why not reunite DeNiro and Pacino in a video game? and throw in the obligatory Christopher Walken etc.) with the Tex Murphy team at the helm. Speaking of DeNiro, get 9: The Last Resort on here, will ya GOG?

Not entering, I'm just on a bit of an FMV high lately after watching the Ripper trailer (get that one as well while You're at it GOG).

BUMP!
Another BUMP!
The game I would make would be an RPG- FPS placed on another planet (something like Borderlands). It would have high-end graphics and amazing and non-linear story. It would be Free to Play but without micro-transaction. The money I would get would be from donations. I hope you like my idea. And I hope to win. PS: The person who win can chose the game from steam or things like it?

Sorry guys, turns out Christmas was stupid chaotic. That's what happens with negotiating around newly separated parents I guess. Blurgh. Anyway I don't have time today, as it's another crazy one, but I will announce the winner tomorrow.

More time for more entries! Thanks to those who bumped for keeping this alive. :) I'm so, so sorry for being so late.

That's ok, no worries :)
In my game you shoot birds at Iphone users and every time you hit one they cough up sweet sweet dollars.
Afterwards everything explodes and you get 10 random steam achievements of an randomly selected game. :DDD

I like to enter for Primordia or Commandos 2+3.

So, I decided that I will enter :) I'm super happy for you and your acceptance! If I were to win, I'll let you know the games afterwords :)

My ideal game would be a roleplaying game with emphasis on real character interactions. If you ever played an RPG server online for Neverwinter Nights, or Vampire: the Masquerade's first PC game, you could have a live Game Master determine the events. You could do anything and the Game master would make it happe. For instance, I could break the leg off a table and they would make the table leg apear as a result.

It'd be nearly impossible to have a fully live universe, w/ characters focused on roleplaying, legistics wise, but it would still be awesome. Some action/fighting would be good, but would have to skill based, turn based, and random roll for success.

It'd probably end up having to be small party in style, much like Dungeons & Dragons online. That game is as close to it as I've ever played, without an actual Game Master running it.

That's my idea. :)
Hello. Grats for your university acceptance and thanks for giveaway.

As for game idea. I'm thinking about an MMORPG in a fantasy world, with few strange features.

- You start the game as a child. You can be able to choose from being part of a family (made from mature playing characters), or, if none it's available, you can grow up in an orphanage from where you can be adopted.
- Any activity you do as child or mature will improve certain attributes. For example, as child you like playing with wooden swords, you develop strenght, dexterity, stamina. If you prefer reading, you develop wisdom. As reading, there will be reading material related to fantasy world. You will be able to read the whole lore in-game if you would like so. You will gain better attributes doing certain activities as a child than you do as a mature.
- The whole game will be impredictible. Will not start as "orcs were fighting humans for 300 years". If other races (other human characters) want to start wars, they can do that. Think at something like EvE online. The players control the world.
- It will have an open world feeling. You won't need to kill rats to grow up. You can grow up to be a lazy bastard and there will not be many things to do to improve your skills.
- Cheating other people for money, stealing, being spy, will be permited.
- Raids won't be capped. You will be able to do dungeons with 80 or 10 people if you would feel like. Bosses will have same HP, abilities and will do same damage, no matter of how big is your party. They won't drop loot, but will give you a nice attributes boost, calculated by the role you had in the fight and your activity.
- Only place from where you can get gear is from other players with professions or by crafting them yourself. Recipes will be taught by other players too.
