Unless you're playing with a group of friends you know from elsewhere, playing it alone seems best. I've had some horrible experiences in flash points and just group quests in general. TOR has some of the most ignorant, abusive and immature players i've ever seen in an MMO.

Everyone I've played with has had the exact opposite impression of the community. Maybe it's a server/region thing? That said, I did snap at a few players in General chat a few times... really regretted it the moment I realised what I'd just posted. Immediately getting put on ignore means I can't apologize... :(

I didn't know it just because I never expected to group with anyone so I didn't really care, lol. I just chose a PVE server and went.

I play on The Harbinger (NA) server, I guess it's unfair to judge the whole community based on what i've experienced. Can't blame you for snapping in General, it's so terrible most of the time on my server I gotta have it turned off. Nowadays it'll take a lot for me to even bother posting on a general channel in any type of multiplayer game no matter how badly I think someone needs to be told off. I guess after 15 years of internet multiplayer I just feel like it's not worth the effort anymore. ;)

I love my sniper's storyline but having played a sith inquisitor for almost twenty levels now I have to say her combat is exceedingly more fun. I even spec'd as a healer but still have a glorious time running in and flinging enemies everywhere, then following up with lightning and saber swipes.

Story is a little disappointing though.

Yeah I consider the agent to have the best story in the game while SI is the worst or the closest to being the worst. Sith warrior is much better than the SI in my opinion story wise.

BTW as a healer if you have a bit of patience you should be able to solo the Heroic 2s.

Yeah I can do Heroic 2s a couple levels below me. I did the level 10 flashpoint solo at level 14 as well.

Tried a Heroic 4 and got humiliated though.

Yeah I'm doing healer. You still get all the same lightning spells you just don't get the damage buffs.

My sniper was pure DPS, which was nice, but the risk of dying was always there. The game feels a lot easier as a healer.

My SI was DPS and dying was a very real possibility. Still, I wanted to zap people with lightning.

I've now become obsessed with getting all the account-wide unlocks using only credits. After a few hours of grinding a few hundred thousand from leveling and selling some goods on the GTN i've gotten all cosmetic ones. Including the companion appearance unlock which i snagged tonite for 125k, i've only seen it as low as 300k before so i'm pretty happy with that one. It's been a real pain getting the 3rd Crew Skill unlock, someone had posted a few of them this morning for 150k, but I was completely broke at that time and they got snagged pretty fast. The account wide artifact equipment unlock is going to be a pain or impossible. Only once have I seen it posted below the free-to-play credit cap (at 348k), and it was gone pretty much 30 seconds later.

And in regards to SI i'll concur heals is the way to go, I went heals from the start and never looked back.

Khadgar and I are going to play some Empire fun and games on the jedi covenant server, if anyone else is game.

If i can actually come up with a name that isn't taken i'll make a bounty hunter, probably a tank powertech, to hang out with you guys on covenant

I bet if you are a tank and I'm a healer we can do heroic 4's with our companions.
