HGiles: Dangerous High School Girls in Trouble could be an interesting look at 1920s society - or it could be really stupid. Anyone played it who can give some more details?
It's definitely not stupid. It actually does some pretty interesting things with its storyline (which runs quite a bit deeper than it seems at a first glance), but it's a bit longer than it should have been; the gameplay gets repetitive pretty quickly and there's a point about two thirds in when the game loses almost all of its momentum.

All in all, I'd say it's worth playing.

I hadn't heard of The Witch's Yarn in ages, and getting all the other games this cheap together is awesome. I'd been waiting for Adventures of Shuggy and Dangerous High School Girls In Trouble to get some heavy discounts.

I only redeemed Chime and Adventures of Shuggy on Steam, though, so I'll probably do some giveaways soon. :D

You don't even need to read the posts - the fact that baf dedicated 6 posts to DHSGiT is recommendation enough.

Awesome, thanks for the info. I love RPGs that branch out into non-standard stats. I think I'll be getting this bundle. :)
Nice, are the Hector games DRM-free? They're securom'd on Telltale's own site and GamersGate.

The only disappointing thing is Chime's Steam-only-ness. Oh well.
So the Network is a lot like an arena shooter with the twist that your ammo is the packets around you. It's not really well explained, but it comes down to "collect packets and little circles, attack square things, get increased packet amount, repeat." Doesn't seem to be much to it and the well-done sense of being in some sort of network is kind of shattered by that.

Only played the first tutorial level, so I have no idea how the disruptor or anything work. It just didn't seem too interesting after that.

Not installed them yet, but you can download installers and there are no keys (except that for steam and desura). They had also Puzle Agent awhile ago in a bundle (drm-free) and are drm-free here on gog, so I would say it's safe ;-)

Btw, I really hope they switch someday also on their own homepage to drm-free downloaders. I know I can order the drm-free disc versions only for shipping, but that's kind of expansive and I really don't need them.
Oh, nice bundle! Shuggy is supposed to be quite fun
Shuggy's awesome.

Get a friend and play co-op though, it's a whole new experience, and it's fun. There's an entire (though smaller) set of levels for co-op set up the same way as the single-player levels.

The puzzles and the platforming are just so much better in co-op. I think it allows more freedom, having the second player, but yeah, it makes it much more challenging and much more fun.

Other than that, it's generally your standard platformer fare with an awesome graphics style, and a lot of creative level design.
Anyone else got a weird glitch registering the Chime Steam key? I have Chime and Chime Demo in my list and I got an error saying that Chime Demo is locked.

It seems you still can play the full game though.

Oh yes, the full game is right there next to the demo. It's just weird that I have an entry in my library for an uninstalled demo that I can't get rid of.
