orcishgamer: That's a good trailer, if that isn't just polish one one section that is unlike most of the rest of the game, DE3 could shape up really well.

lowyhong: My only concern is that the map may be too small. I like how in DX there was a lot of tension because you didn't quite know what was coming; at the same time, the level designers managed to not make every empty corridor feel redundant. Everything was there for a purpose. I hope they maintain this in HR.
The small areas in IW were due to the original XBox's limitations, I think we'll be fine. From the close-ups I've seen the graphics are a bit dated. Clever level design can make even small areas look big (e.g. Silverpines in Fable 3) and through clever loading you can actually get some damned huge areas going (e.g. Mistpeak Valley in Fable 3). I would hope the PC players would get a texture pack to make it look a bit nicer, after all, there's no reason for them to suffer with 5 year old graphics.
I will only even consider buying it if this game if it has the humor the first one had:

Oh yeah, all those mindbreaking generic murder death kills can't surpass the awesomeness that is Deus Ex:

You know, I love the internet and nearly all it brings, but can anyone actually point me to some evidence that an internet petition actually got something changed? And I mean the petition made them change their mind, not that there was a petition about it but some other pressure besides the petition changed something. Any company ever say, "Hey, we read how much people wanted it in this petition so we changed it."?

Like religion, it brings hope. Just don't hold your breath for a miracle.

Touchee, sir, point for you.
Surprise surprise!
Yeah good stuff. I didn't care much about the highlights (both Deus Ex games previously released had the same thing) but I do love the idea of ditching quest markers.
Someone take the original Deus Ex gift I got on Steam off my hands please.
I have the Augmented on pre order, all the previews I have seen, seem to genuinely rate this game as going to be very good, I dont care though, even if its mediocre I'll buy it, yup, I'm a sucker :)
Well shit.

This.

Thank you Square Enix. Some lube would be nice, though.
