The graphic style of DX 3 is excellent it is a really good balde runner style. The question is: Is the Gameplay good and have they really done a good job with the PC version. I must really doubt it since gamepad control and mouse + kb control is a huge difference in such a game.

Either shooter of platformer gameplay could work well with a Deus Ex game.

I will concede that I haven't seen a gameplay HUD yet either, but if you notice most of the guns have their ammo showing. I'm guessing they're doing something like Dead Space where there isn't an actual HUD but rather gameplay elements that represent all the info that a HUD would provide.
IT's also possible that considering this is Deus Ex we're talking about that it could be played in different ways. If you focused on guns it would play much more like a cover system FPS. If you focused on melee it plays much more like a combo platformer.
If you watch the Gameplay Trailer at the 2:06 mark it looks like it may even incorporate some form of "bullet time" system.
What I really want to see is some PC gameplay videos, especially dealing with the inventory and menu system.

I'm inclined to hope for the best on this one, since I do like the original. If they get good gameplay and an excellent story that will be success to me.

Went from fairly hyped to eh, probably wait for some reviews.

The highlighting bugs the heck out of me, and for some reason, the paths seem much more forced. In the first game, it felt as though you could improvise from start to finish, but not getting that vibe as much here. Then again, it is just the first level which may be purposely designed this way to teach newcomers.
Either way, less impressed than I originally was, but holding off judgment till more is shown or talked about. Seems highlighting is here to stay though.

As long as I can turn off the highlighting it'll be fine. Yea I'm augmented, but it would be better if it was a single button toggle or even a "hold to activate" ability. Then I could feel as if I was switching my eyes enhancement mode on and off.
I will say that the lack of hands when ever they activate something (doors or levers) is kind of annoying.
Agreed, save for a few levels where you just wandered around looking at things, the actual missions were fairly well defined rail roads with just a few choices of what/how to do things.

For the most part there were, at most, two paths you could take. That video showed more paths and more stealth options. He also acted more like an augmented agent. JC wasn't really all that more athletic than the average guy without activating a relevant augmentation.

I just watched the augmented video. Unless this handles like Mass Effect I'd say it'll be better on PC. Also, I was a bit disappointed that a lot of the animation looked like ass. I'm hoping it looks far better by the time they're done and maybe way better on PC.

the cover system already sucks, that feels not realistic. Why do they not just add in the stealth system, AI part from far cry ?
The one from far cry feels natural and not you click a button and he covers that sucks ass.
Also the takedowns could get boring and repetitive if you do it over and over again. Since you do nothing and only look at the action (passive).

Have you heard about the highlighting system in the game? It highlights all the potential paths you can take to achieve your objective. Have people become that lazy that they cannot look for themselves for different paths to the same goal anymore?
One of the things I loved about the original DX was the fact that nothing was given freely. It was only through trial and error that I found many different ways to victory. Allowing the player to do everything themselves heightens, in my opinion, the effect of achieving something truly kick-ass instead of just watching an animation that comes to the player at the press of a button.
