JudasIscariot: Speaking for myself, I'd love to have The Void here as Ice Pick Lodge makes some of the most interesting games around :)

Novotnus: A hint for you :)
Check malls - you can get it for ~10 PLN. Or I can get if for you and mail it when I see it again.
But true, GOG release would be lovely. This game deserves much more recognition.
Thanks but I already have it :) It was my Blood Bowl prize (thanks Psyringe!) for participation in the previous season :)

I was speaking in general terms :)

Well, IPL is on board, Void has some votes on the wishlist, the game is good... so I don't know what's stopping the release :)

I am not sure as this kind of stuff is way over my head :)

Wishbone: One game I never heard of before I found it on GOG, and subsequently came to absolutely adore is Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising. I highly recommend it.

Ahem, how "eloquent". Trust me, Hostile Waters is not your normal run-of-the-mill RTS. At any time, you're unlikely to have more than 4 or 5 units, and usually you'll be piloting one of them yourself.

JudasIscariot: snip
Ta Judas, nice to know I've got good stuff to look forward to, especially with regards to Papers Please. I really do need to make time to get into my untried stuff, instead of throwing myself repeatedly against Rogue Legacy and Radical Dungeon Sweeper.

Well, I can totally understand throwing yourself repeatedly at Rogue Legacy as it is a rather good game :)

innerring: In Cold Blood by Revolution Software (Broken Sword series and Beneath a Steel Sky)

Fever_Discordia: Whoa - I never knew about 'In Cold Blood' until a second ago! How did I miss that? How longs THAT one been in the catalogue? Edit - just seen the dates on the reviews - since forever! Don't ever remember it going on sale either...
It was the same for me until the Xmas sale. I saw it during that and was very much of the "how the hell did I miss that all this time" reaction. Naturally I bought it immediately.

Yah, finally beat two of the boss monsters, so I feel like sacrificing about 60 generations is finally paying off.

I've mentioned this one in other, similar threads, but Perimeter was the first "That looks weird, never heard of it, let's give it a shot" purchase I made on GOG, and it turned out to be great. Definitely the most unusual RTS I've ever played - it almost plays more like a puzzle game than your typical "overwhelm the enemy through sheer force of numbers" strategy title. Be warned, though: there's a steep learning curve, and the game does a piss-poor job of explaining what it expects you to do, so some patience and a willingness to experiment is required.

And of course, I'll give another shout out to Chaos Overlords, an indie title from long before "indie" was a thing, and the most surprisingly addictive game I have ever played.

Unepic here on GOG really needs more attention. I initially dismissed it as some cutesy "real life dungeons/dragons" cartoonish gimmick but it's a compulsively fun metroidvania style game with inventive mechanics, a robust unlock system, and other interesting elements despite some offbeat hit/miss humor. I just completed Rogue Legacy and can honestly say (71% of the way in with Unepic) I prefer Unepic which has more diverse environments, detailed magic/skills. and assorted NPCs/pets.
Another game I discovered here is The Swapper. I heard that it shows off some philosophical quandaries in it so that should be fun.
