Dominic998: Do we know if this will be the original game, or a 'remastered' version like they did with Broken Sword?
Its just the original game, they have stated that the original masters of the FMVs can't be upgraded to HD standards but we will get it in good quality. Also a website for the re-release is in development and will contain more details soon.

GameRager: The story walls doesn't have to be read to continue on.....just run to the right as fast as you can. I once tried reading it all, and got maybe 8 walls/rooms/pages in....good times.

Navagon: I think I did the same. But it was like being stuck in an infinite loop or something. I don't know. I don't remember it 100% clearly now, but that was definitely a point in the game that kind of ruined it for me as it threw me off a bit. I thought I was missing something in all that text that I'd need. After Myst anything like that is possible.
It's mostly a Genesis this guy begat that guy who begat these guys and some of them made some stuff story....long and boring after a point but not needed in the end, Also yeah it seems infinite as there's like 30 rooms/screens of it you have to run past to get to the end.

But the rest of the game was really unique and memorable. It's a shame there's still no way to go back and play it again now. But maybe this resurgence of interest in the game will see them chuck it GOG's way as an afterthought.

Oh some of the story made me chuckle, and it is memorable to try and run past it all as you laugh at it's utter enormity.

I wonder if anyone (gamer) has actually read it all.

30+screens, with multiple pages(screens of text) per zoomed out screen/room? I wonder.....

Good :) I haven't played it, but I always prefer to play the original version of any game.

hedwards: And I want Mexican Coke to be easily available and as affordable as the crappy American Coke. Unfortunately, we don't always get what we want.

GameRager: But remember that sometimes we can get what we need. ;)
.....but only if we try sometime :)

Personally I just passed the screens for the card at the end. You could save anywhere, so I saved when I got bored and reloaded when I wanted to go on. Anyway, it weren´t more than 15 minutes.

About the story, I didn´t read it at first because back in the day I didn´t know much english. Later, I didn´t read it because the interface to read it was really annoying. Some years later I finally read it, when I could download it in a doc format which is a lot less annoying. It´s interesting, and some parts are fun, but I wouldn´t read it again.

EDIT: Awww, I made myself sad.

cnquist: Now you've made me sad as well. Mexican Coke and Manzana Lift is that too much to ask? Apparently.
At least you can still get it. When I get a jones for OK Soda, I can't get any. Sometimes I think about trying to figure out the formula on my own.
