Roman5: 8 codes...Half of which went to one person...
I do not like luck. It has always fought me, I do not trust it. I aim for my giveaways to at least be from being present, but ideally from being skilled.

Rod outplayed you. He had the same starting position, and ended up with more. That's not a bad thing, he just played the game a lot better.
Well I think the most amazing thing happened to me. I wanted none of the giveaway games, and none of them were on my wishlist. I am generally not good at trading also. I was prepared to loose all. But I decided to try out of respect to wpegg and my promise.
In the end due to generousity of the people I walk away with some games that actually WERE on my wishlist. :) Whatever whoever says, it did not end up bad for me.
I got the one I wanted :)
And it was fun to do the deals on the undercover. I have made deals smoothly with everyone except one person. But in the end I got the part I was trading for from other place :D
wpegg asked me if I could share my notes I made during the giveaway, so here they are if someone's interested.

One plain error I made, but noticed only a while ago, that I had accidentally mixed Rodzaju's and Zangtesu's names on two occasions. Guess I was pretty damn tired when writing the notes down (I think Rodzaju can confirm this, we had an...interesting first trade)

I have not altered the notes afterwards in any way. If you see your name put into a not-so-admiring context, please bare no grudge, that was only what I was thinking at the time of writing the notes.
My game plan:
1 - Be proactive.
By chasing quick trades I was able to trade the same code several times.
If you wait for them to come to you, you might get 1 or 2, but then the others will have been trading & your code is public property.
2 - Be honest.
People who are happy with the trade will trade again.
3 - Be cautious.
I know it annoyed some of you, but I made a point of verifying codes before giving all info away.
EVERY one of the very few times I just trusted someone (and it mattered) I got stiffed!

So you wrote nothing down?

C'mon guys, share!

It'll have to wait until I get home.

I will say that I did QC a dis-service.
After Cowboy posted his anachronox code, QC offered to trade Anach codes with me.
I thought he was trying to sell me a lemon.
Then I realised that Cowboy's code was NOT from the game!

I would like to name & shame Roman 5.
He agreed a trade.
After he got my code, he decided not to give me his.
He did come through in the end though & I wouldn't have got Cryo without him.

I also thought it was hilarious that I was offering Pavel the moon & stars for his part of Cryo to no avail, but then Spinefarm gave me the same code for pretty much nothing!

Hopefully we'll get some notes through, but to wrap up from me:

final scores:

Rodzaju: 4 games (Anachronox, Cryostasis, Soulbringer, Ultima7)
Zangetsu: 1 game (Deus Ex)
DodoGeo: 1 game (Thief 2)
DProject: 1 game (Thief)
Titanium: 1 game (by luck: Robin Hood)

Hope you all had fun. I may do another some time. It's taught me a few things about such a giveaway, I can probably engineer a better one, The trouble is, I keep having ideas. So who know's what's next...

I have to say honestly that i didn't write anything down except the parts of deus ex on txt file in order to be quick to redeem. I had a lot of tabs opened at the time :D
I also think that by trading in the first hours gave me the edge and i was honest and got lucky that rodjazu wanted the soulbringer and he offered a 2 to 1 trade for that code. But i Admit i only chased Deus ex so maybe i had a easier path because of that and because the nnmillar and rodjazu were not interested in deus ex :P

You got a 2 for 1 on that because it was the last one I needed to redeem the game!
Not sure why you gave away Robin Hood when you knew I had all four parts, but hey, it's your money. If you want to explain I'd like to know the reason.

You owed me a game. We're even now.
Also, didn't anyone else find it strange that a robin hood code began ELM? First time I was asked to validate it I thought "that's a con for sure".
I thought my play on stealing the game from the rich and giving it to the poor was much funnier.
