CowboyBebop: Alright. I've seen this done before in the Mafia threads and it never ends good when someone declares but I'm going to do it anyway. As some of you already know I have part of the Thief Gold code and I'm not all that interested in any of the games in the giveaway. I'm holding it ransom for an unwanted GOG game (even Master of Orion 3) I don't have or perhaps I could be persuaded to trade it for some steam code or something.

I'm only going to trade it to 1 person and 1 person only so if you have the rest you'll get the game. If you want it bad enough then I'm sure we can work something out. Sorry if this makes you upset but this is the nasty giveaway and you can always wait until wpegg puts it in the Ninja thread and hope you're fast enough.

As you said. Ransoming such codes never ends well. I'd advise against doing so.
I did say that didn't I : D Oh well, just thought I'd try something out. None of these games were on my most wanted list and I figured out which games were the most wanted and thus the most likely to end up on the Ninja thread. Anachronox was on 8 wanted lists and Thief Gold was on 6. Both were the most likely to end up on the Ninja thread and I won't be home next weekend anyway to get any left over game.

I wasn't going to just quit at the beginning and give out the codes nor would I give out fakes. Then I noticed nmillar's ploy (intended or not) and how you were hoping he had done it on purpose and thought I might as well give it a shot as I'd already been thinking of holding it ransom. Good luck to everybody :)

Now I'm going to Ninja this nasty giveaway.

If no-one has traded with ovoon, and ovoon doesn't come forward within the hour, I'm going to be publishing those codes. It's acting as a bit of a blockage now.

I'm pretty sure I've validated at least one of his codes, so they're in the wild.

EDIT: Quick review shows that I haven't. However I know he's been present, and that indicates a strategy (albeit a bad one) as opposed to an absence.

Well going away happy with Thief 2, thanks to all the traders especially to Suzuku-sama.
Going out with the same classy community thoughts as before.

For me it was more an irritating than nasty giveaway, chasing people around.
