Phew, done for tonight. Really tired, now I'm definitely hitting the bed. It was interesting to see how easily misunderstandings can appear if a person doesn't speak English as their native tongue. Good thing they can be fixed :)

To all of you who are keeping parts as ransom: Don't. You'll ruin the game in the long run. Take a chance and see what happens. Although this is my opinion purely, others don't have to agree. But I know I'm not going to start buying people games so that I can have their part, don't know about everyone else. This is a game testing your wits, so don't hog your piece. That won't probably net you anything even though you think it will (you only own a part that can anytime become public, if wpegg chooses to do so).

Don't worry about the ransom part. That's already occurred to me. They may find themselves suddenly neutered. I'm just giving a bit of time.

Well I did play, I playing for my part by helping two participant win the game that they want.
Sorry, it's not what you wanted.

Edit: If you really want to know, I forgot about the contest and when I did remember, I wasn't feeling good. So I decide to help two people get what they want. It's brought me happiness.

Now that's confusing... why intentionally only assist 2 people out of the other 15 contestants when it's possible someone else would appreciate your two game codes even more than the people you've told? That doesn't make any sense to me!

ok, well by playing a little, you've kept the currency in motion, and that's important. So thankyou for doing that.

CowboyBebop: Alright. I've seen this done before in the Mafia threads and it never ends good when someone declares but I'm going to do it anyway. As some of you already know I have part of the Thief Gold code and I'm not all that interested in any of the games in the giveaway. I'm holding it ransom for an unwanted GOG game (even Master of Orion 3) I don't have or perhaps I could be persuaded to trade it for some steam code or something.

I'm only going to trade it to 1 person and 1 person only so if you have the rest you'll get the game. If you want it bad enough then I'm sure we can work something out. Sorry if this makes you upset but this is the nasty giveaway and you can always wait until wpegg puts it in the Ninja thread and hope you're fast enough.
do you mean this code: Thief 1: Part=3, Code=NSQR?

As you said. Ransoming such codes never ends well. I'd advise against doing so.
