Not according to wikipedia's List of commercial video games released as freeware. Obviously list is not exaustive or up to date.

(I guess the original was released as freeware at one point, but if it and 2 could be bundled in a release, that would be sweet. I'm not sure if nGlide could be used or not.)

There's an unofficial patch for Battlezone 2 headed by two programmers who worked on the original Battlezone II team.

F4LL0UT: The fact that the game is (supposedly, haven't checked myself yet) available on PSN suggests that it's neither about music issues nor the legal dispute that occurred between Crystal Dynamics and Silicon Knights (plus I'm quite positive that there was no licensed music in the game, making legal issues related to the music less than likely).

As far as I can tell it's most likely that Activision holds the rights to the PC port itself but does not have the rights to distribute the game anymore. Squenix on the other hand owns and can distribute the whole franchise except for the PC port of Blood Omen 1. The franchise was initially published by Eidos and was then carried over to Squenix, Activision was apparently only responsible for the PC port of Blood Omen and its distribution (and yes, I own a physical copy of Blood Omen and it does indeed have the Activision logo on its cover).
I was unsure because someone in the thread I linked to claimed that Activision were behind the PS1 version too, I'm pretty sure they must have been mistaken but here's their post anyway:

SCPM would be the person to talk about for Strife; iirc he's actively been doing research on that game. As for the Amazon link, I think that's a bullshit download. Somebody (probably SCPM) posted the a link to the game appearing on iTunes or something. I mean, the game may work, but I doubt that's technically legal.

Somebody could prove me wrong, though!

Yeah, although I checked again. Things seem pretty messy. Wikipedia says that only the PC version was published by Activision and that the PSX version was published by Crystal Dynamics in NA and PAL regions, however, judging by the box arts Activision may have been somehow involved in the PSX version as well.

Five minutes later:
The PSX front cover that I found only has the Crystal Dynamics logo (unlike the PC cover that my version has). The back side of the PSX version, at least the American one has the Activision logo but it specifically says "distributed by" which kinda implies that they didn't actually own the game, it was probably only a deal limited to a certain time period and region. Will have to check the European version's PSX box art.

Anyway, that Activision distributed the game in NA still doesn't mean that they actually owned the franchise back then. If they were responsible for the PC port it's quite probable that they do actually own the port.

That's my guess anyway. I suppose it's also possible there are some rights issues because Wikipedia does make note of a large variety of publishers (although I'd think EA would still have all the appropriate rights for the DOS version).

Well it could be emulated, no problem, but I'm pretty sure hell freezes over before any of the big three (Microsoft, Sony & Nintendo) allow legal emulation of their old consoles on PC. They're far more likely to just continue re-releasing them in their own digital market places forcing you to re-buy them for every new console generation :-p. Defunct consoles and computers like Dreamcast (Sega has already released some of it's oldies in GG and other places), 3DO, C64, Amiga and so forth are far more likely.

Hmm there ARE mobile ports though - maybe Android emulation is the way to go? Don't Android apps run in some kind of VM anyway?

Imperium Galactica 1 & 2 - GT Interactive/Infogrames/Atari
I assume the rights situation is complicated, because the first game is a DOS title, so that one at least wouldn't be held back by compatibility issues.

Theme Park World - EA
I'm pretty sure, if this does have 3Dfx capabilities and can use nGlide, we'll see this show up in the coming months after Theme Park has sold well (unless it's a situation similar to SimCity 3000, and for whatever reason the next game in the series doesn't appear).

SimAnt - EA
I wonder if GOG hasn't brought this because it might be viewed as "edutainment" (there is a DOS version, right?), a shame if so because the game seems to have sold really well and was well-received. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sim_Ant#Sales_reception

Cave Story+ - Nicalis Inc.

I assume the price wanted by Team 17 is holding back a release here, similar to Worms Armageddon, but maybe it's compatibility or multiplayer issues.

Battlefield 1942 - EA
It's free on Origin to entice people to use it, afaik. As such I suspect it will be quite some time before that game shows up on GOG.

Turok 2: Seeds Of Evil - Acclaim
Similar to the first Turok I suspect it could show up through Valiant or Night Dive.

Duke Nukem 3D: Duke It Out In DC - ? (Duke 3D expansion)
If DD were to bring Megaton we could see this show up, but unless I'm mistaken it is technically free anyways.

Anno 1602 - Sunflowers (acquired by Ubisoft)
Developed by Max Design, I was in contact with on the MD guys on Twitter. He seemed to suggest he couldn't bring the games because there were publishing issues, but if Ubisoft does still have rights, I'd assume we could see this show up in the near future. (Of course that's assuming no compatibility issues.)

Hitman: Blood Money - Squeenix
Maybe it's a situation similar to Team 17 - Squeenix wants more money than GOG wants to sell the game for. They did recently release an HD version; maybe after that has had its time to sell, we'll see this one show up.

Mass Effect 2 - EA
/Maybe/ next year will see more "new" EA titles released on GOG (the newest one so far has been Jade Empire I believe), depending on what EA wants to keep exclusive to Origin. Of course, the first one will have to come first.

I don't think Nicalis has any games on GOG yet? Cave Story+ was also in the Humble Bundle DRM-free. But I noticed that Nicalis is now following GOG on Twitter, so maybe that's a sign that they're planning something.

As for any EA properties, it's only a matter of time, they've still a ton of games in their catalog. They've been an excellent partner for GOG, this year alone has seen the Kyrandia games, the Wing Commander series completed, Theme Park, Clive Barker's Undying, and Jade Empire.

Yes, we've been getting some great games. I'm kind of worried about our other "big-name" publishers, though, since we haven't seen anything from Activision or Ubisoft in quite some time.

I want to note that though you can't get the "Deluxe Edition" of Alice: Madness Returns that comes with the original American McGee's Alice on Origin for whatever reason it's still available, and has been for a while, on Green Man Gaming (which is where I got it): LINK TO THE PAGE NOW MOTHERFUCKER AGGH
