cmdr_flashheart: Rise of the Dragon from Sierra, is 400 votes enough to count?
http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/rise_of_the_dragon
I stopped at about 1200 or 1000 votes (no real reason other than I got lazy ;), but you're welcome to post whatever you want. (Preferably games over 100 wishlist votes, though)

IronArcturus: I really wish we could see the original American Mcgee's Alice on GOG! It was an incredible game!
Would be fantastic if the SimCity 4 release was a step towards BIG EA games like this, Black & White, maybe even the first System Shock (assuming EA has been the holdup there), but many of us have learned thinking too big often leads to disappointment.

cose_vecchie: An excellent thread, great job, thank you. I was wondering why Rainbow Six does not include its mission pack Eagle Watch, as is usually the case with GOG releases; any ideas?
Unfortunate legal woes of some sort, I'd imagine.

Weren't the Need for Speed games held by EA? That would be really cool if GOG could get NFS 3: Hot Pursuit or Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2!

I wouldn't be holding my breath over older Need For Speed games, thanks to this little devil called licensed cars. Come to think of it, I wouldn't be holding it over newer games too, since EA likes to sell them exclusively through Origin.

I was wondering about that. But doesn't GRID also have licensed cars? So does that mean it's not impossible?

Don't count on Black & White as the rights might be held between Lionhead/EA or Lionhead/Microsoft. So yes, another issue of a game in legal limbo. EA still has the Theme Park sequels to release, as well as other titles that do not have such rights issues. American McGee's Alice would be another good title to mention. Wouldn't mind System Shock, Freedom Force, or The Neverhood released this year as well. Was happy to see SimCity 4 and hope that it is a sign of things to come.

GRID isn't that old, they would likely still have the rights for them.

IronArcturus: Since GOG got SimCity 4, I wonder what are the chances they can get SimCity 3000...
I think it'll probably happen eventually, but not anytime soon (keep in mind it was 2 1/2 years between the GOG releases of Sim City 2000 and Sim City 4)

The only reason I can think of for why it's not here is because the game didn't pass all the compatibility tests. (But maybe there really are licensing issues?)

I'm also confused about it, since the game received a port for iOS devices.

I doubt that there would be licensing issues unless it was engine based. The music for 3000 and 4 are from the same composer, so that is ruled out. My guess would be compatibility issues or they just wanted to release 4. 3000 does have more votes than 4, but you have to search under sim city and simcity to find them all.

Actually I'd really like to see the Spellcasting x01 series and the rest of the Legend Entertainment games.

Who wouldn't. Provided I have the monies at the time they would be instabuys for me. Death Gate, Shannara or Companions of Xanth (and the other "literature" titles) may be difficult due to the licence thing. But to have Eric the Unready or Superhero League of Hoboken here...
"Z" is off the list! :)
