I wanted to share something that just made me LOL that everybody came to my room and asked what happened! Well, I'm playing Gobliiins (finally grabbed it during the recent Not Scary Games Promo). And guess what! The game was CENSORED! I can understand why some games are censored (and it's not my point to bring the discussion about censorship in general) but come one! Gobliiins? Am I to understand that somebody actually got offended by nipples that are one single pixel in size? That's just hilarious! I'm still laughing like a mad man!

And if you don't believe me check it yourself. I posted a suitable comparison. I'm sorry for the crappy graphic in amiga version but that's the best I've found. Be warned though! The attachment contains lewd nudity!

And now I should probable get banned for this.

it really isn't that big of a deal. the game is essentially the same either way.

That is something that annoys me, with GOG.

Giants citizen kabuto was a bit more weird and atypical with the naked heroin (it also made more sense, i don't get mermaids or mermaidoïds in bikini), and it wasn't particularly super erotic. But GOG go the puritan road because omg omg.

It's like the covered breasts on the replicas of classic statues, aboard the Queen Mary II. To prevent american tourists from jumping overboard in terror, I suppose.

I think part of it has to do with which version GOG gets. Fallout (I think 1, maybe 2) is censored because they were given the European version over the US version as it was given more patches.

I don't think GOG is puritan, they do have The Witcher series and the uncensored Fahrenheit.

I think Immoli is right. I'm not sure if GOG can freely choose which version they get. The presence of some uncensored games suggest that they are not puritans after all.

Ah. Yeah. Well, I'm just sorry that they get these versions of goblins/giants. Such little censorships always irk me, precisely because it's "no big deal", and make for versions that I don't really wish to buy.

Don't worry, I believe in "Han shot first" as well. Not to go off topic, but I find it destroys his character development quite thoroughly.
