Some people have the natural capacity to absorb and store more fat from less food, so that is their excuse for being fat but it is not a valid excuse, because at some point, no matter what are the condition or genetics, there has to be a limit to how much fat can be absorbed from x amount of food. It is scientifically impossible to gain more weight than the total weight of the food you ate.
I am fat!, it is because i eat too much food, i eat too much food compared to what a normal healthy person would eat. Some people get fat even though they eat the same amount of food a normal healthy person eats, but this is still no excuse for being fat, because their eating too much food according to the natural balance of their 'own' body.
