If anything, food should get bigger. I want to use a Cheerio as a lifebuoy.

Computers are getting smaller, but portion sizes keep getting bigger and bigger. By 2020 a small cheeseburger at McDonald's will weigh 5 pounds.

Pretty much, servings get smaller and smaller or here but the price keeps going up.

More like 5 Grams! - You had better take a closer look at how McDonald portion size has changed over time,,, while the general trend is that the food portion does increase (except hot chips of course) McDonald's consider their customers so addicted and so stupid, that they have been steadily reducing the portion sizes over the years.

It's already happening. Unless you are talking about a tiny pill of food that fills you up. In that case, no it won't happen until after the Soylent Green runs out.

That picture reminded me of something.... you know how sometimes you hear people justify fat and say "its genetics" or a thyroid problem or something like that. I think to myself, ok if that is true, why can't they send those conditions to the third world and save all the starving people?? because its bullxxxx
