(Note: this is my first giveaway. I just feel like I have to do it in return for all the generosity of whom I have already benefited in this forum. I hope that everything goes well and above all that it ends up being fun for all participants. Hat tip to user 01kipper, to whose awesome "Yo, Joe!" giveaway this one of mine is obviously and heavily indebted. Too bad I didn't take part in that!)
I am sure that many GOGers remember pretty well the "Masters of the Universe" toy-line-cum-animated-TV-series of the 80s (younger or uninformed GOGers might want to do a bit of research over the Internet).
Now that's the subject of this giveaway. You can win up to 5.99$ in GOG games of your choice; to take part, you just have to designate: A) your favourite good guy (or girl!) and B) your favourite villain. You can motivate your choice if you feel so inclined.
Note that I am mainly referring to the "classic" series, but you can talk about modern versions too, if you like. And your characters of choice need not appear in the cartoon.
For additional fun, you could try to come out with a plausible explanation as to why no one ever realizes that He-Man is Prince Adam, even if the only difference is... less clothes.
You can talk about mount and vehicles as well.
Or, since we're on GOG, you could relate your experience with ancient videogames based on the franchise.
Heck, you could even post a picture of one of those action figures if you still happen to own some.
You must have a custom avatar and a title different from "New User". Please only enter for yourself.
The giveaway will be considered closed on Saturday June 7th at 4:00 pm (Italian time). The winner will then be picked randomly among all valid entries, shortly after.
If you want, you can state right away the game you'd like to be gifted; or you can wait my PM announcing victory if you're undecided or want to see what will be on sale in the weekend promo (or if you don't want your choice to be made public).
Of course, you can contribute even if you are not interested in the giveaway; just state it explicitly.
