Tavariš GoG, epska pobeda!
Teh best offer evar! :D
Thank you GOG! Been waiting for ages to try Longest Journey and this was just the excuse I needed. Having a digital copy of Sanitarium is a nice bonus too.

tor: Generally, it should work fine even with Vista. If you can't find a solution to your specific problem in the TLJ forum, you might want to post a thread describing your symptoms.

Its the skipping problem, tried the fix but the file doesn't exist in my appdata folder, didn't work on the one in the main folder. So no I have a $5 paperweight. For those that it is working, it may be due to you have different graphics card.
Edit: Just pasted the file from the main foler into the appdata one and did the changes and it worked. Have to play in windowed mode though. Not impressed, as compatability is one of GOGs main selling points and they can't even get that right.

This appears to be a bug in the more recent versions of the Nvidia driver, probably something GOG doesn't have control over. Though I agree that they should figure out a solution, e.g. having the installer detect the problematic driver and apply the appropriate configuration changes automatically.
I also agree that playing in windowed mode is less than optimal for a game that runs in 640x480. If fullscreen mode doesn't work with bool_UseHardware=0, try disabling double buffering as well. (bool_IsDoubleBuffer=0) With double buffering disabled, fullscreen mode should work a lot better.
OK, OK....Dammit.
I'm in.
This is not normal....fantastic actions every weekend....even buying something in between....like another world. THANK YOU GOG
Just bought Sanitarium (already own TLJ). Only hope it will run as smoothly as the other games I got from GOG.
Wanna thank you guys for giving me the chance to play these old brilliant games.
Please keep up the good work!
Just bought both. I had been eyeballing Sanitarium for awhile now, but the sale leaves me with no excuse not to buy it.
Thanks GOG.

Me sad, two of the games I want the most from GOG... just in time for me being poor.
Thank you GOG, you finally made me buy TLJ. :D
Ok. I bought TLJ. It'd better not be another annoying adventure game!
That's almost everything on my to-buy in sales list sorted. Just need Mass Effect, but it's never available over here.
mm... already got to chapter 5. I forgot why I liked this game so much, its got awesomely enthralling dialogue and the voice acting is superb. Plus the world-building is pretty sweet as well...
Anyway, I had some issues with windows 7 64 bit, mostly due to my NVIDIA card. I used a fix on the TLJ section of the forums for messing with the ini file and everything is working perfectly. Thanks!
Why can't companies make more games like TLJ? Sierra use to suck the time out of my day as well. I understand the cost to make vs. the ROI aspect of the biz, but man do I love these games and wish companies made more of them.

trcanberra: When I tried to buy one it says it is $9.99 - yet not supposed to be bundled. Will this be fixed in time?

Miaghstir: Did you go through the promo page? (the "right now" link in the announcement post) It won't work if you go through the game page.

Thanks - worked a treat - TLJ downloading now :)
