What do you guys think of the last of us?

I think it's a good game but because of it's reviews and hype, the issues in the game stick out more but it is a good game

Watched about 30 minutes of let's play videos before getting annoyed by the players lack of skill, talking over cutscenes etc. Seems like it would be fun to play if I had a ps3. As it is, seems like the ps4 announcement didn't lead to a ps3 price cut, so my list of "things to play if i ever get a ps3" is just getting longer.

I could never understand how people were gushing over it since it was announced, the game just looks like Uncharted 4 to me. Sure, I liked Uncharted, but I'm done with now.

Just finished Last of Us about an hour ago. 20 hours long game, on hard.

Very, very good post-apocalyptic stealth action scavenger movie game. Very interesting ambiguous ending, a bit of gut punch.

I just really wish Naughty Dog were not owned by Sony and could make their games multiplatform, so I could play it on my PC. Because PS3 does not do it justice - the art and atmosphere is beautiful, but the low performance of PS3 betrays it. The game is pretty much nothing like Uncharted. I like Uncharted, but these games are worlds apart in theme, tone, atmosphere and mechanics.

It's nothing do to with Uncharted. Really, even the multiplayer is a total, different thing.

I just saw people moving like they did in Uncharted and cover-based shooting liked they did in Uncharted and immediately lost all interest.

It has shooting (barely, better save those bullets!), and you do use the environment to get behind cover. If that's what makes it Uncharted, then just about every game involving shooting others people is Uncharted.

Talk about judging a book by its cover.

Yes and Braid is a Super Mario Brothers game.

Good story, characters and gfx, pretty shit gameplay though.

People who think the gameplay is great, really need to play better games.

A enjoyable emotional game that makes you question humanity.

That's the second ps3 game that grabbed me into the story till the end. the 1st is Metal gear solid 4.

I don't care if this game is different than Uncharted - Uncharted games are overrated as f by Sony fanboys (not that they are bad games), why should I trust the hype this time around. I laugh at fanboys who say 'take this pc master race, you don't have Uncharted'. Suure we dream of action adventure games with annoying cover gunfights on pc. I love all gaming systems/platforms just saying.
