Highly unlikely. The Gold edition is developed and published by Dotemu. The Gog version is here courtesy of Phoenix Licensing.

Yes, I have the game from DotEmu for the French version, this is where I expect the Gold Edition.

About GOG version I don't know, I don't have it here, English only..

mari29: I tried to vote on this game, but wasn't able to find it on the wish list, so I added it again and then it showed that it had been previously listed. Anyway, my vote is in.

That's the game, but not where I voted. I used the wish-list site that was posted.

cogadh posted the link I used.

Why do you want to vote for a game to be here when it is already here?

Sorry...I didn't know it was here. My mistake.

Hey no problem, in any case this makes me realize that I should add the game to my wishlist.

Sad to say but Steam has a 'Gold Edition' with extras that the GOG version doesn't, some of which are Steamworks things, admittedly but other really aren't:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/252710/
NEW “GOLD EDITION” FEATURES:
• Advanced hint system
• New more intuitive UI & improved inventory
• Challenging achievements to test your sleuthing skills
• Cloud Saving (Steam)
• In-game bonuses (unlock characters biographies and more)

I guess there's no wishlist entry for Gold Ed then? Probably should be really...
Not yet, but there is one for the nonexistent sequel. :-/

"Aaaaahhhh, it's too tough to bring Steam versions to GOG! Makes me squeeze my pee-pee, that's how tough it is!"

I seem to recall there were some DotEmu-originated games sold also on GOG, at least before? I don't recall if DotEmu was marked as the publisher, though.

I'm wondering how much, if any, the original story has been altered with all these additions to the game ?

I know. The problem is, in order to get the Gold edition here, Gog would have to:

- dump a publisher
- negociate a new contract

Yeah, I was thinking about this - if GOG didn't give people who already owned the game a free upgrade to Gold Ed they would feel gipped but to DotEmu it would seem like GOG were giving away a bunch of copies of THEIR version of the game for free so, yeah, it would be tricky
It's not easy not being evil sometimes!
