EDIT: This list is no longer maintained. While a number of entries might still be applicable, I cannot guarantee it's accuracy.

This thread is to maintain a list of all games which are not the latest version and to list a reason why when available. As I don't own the entire GOG library, I call upon the community to help bring to my attention games which deserve to be on the list.

Lacking Update:
Entomorph: Plague of the Darkfall = GOG: 1.0 Current 1.1?
I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream = Steam version changed to ScummVM, fixes bugs
The Inner World = Black Screen fix on Steam version
Omerta: City of Gangsters = GOG: 1.06 Current: 1.07
Postal 2 = Steam update with bugfixes and Workshop support
Race the Sun = GOG: 1.1 current 1.27
Shadow Warrior (2013) = GOG: 1.1.1b Current: 1.1.2

Autopatcher Required:
Don't Starve = Current

Update:
Spelunky removed, 1.4 patch released.
Don't Starve updated.
Rise of the Triad removed, 1.4 patch released.
Postal removed, patch released.

I Have No Mouth But I Must Scream - Steam version got a patch on Feb 20 which changed engine to ScummVM, and thus fixed some bugs. We have yet to get it.
Entomorph: Plague of the Darkfall still doesn't include or offer the patch, which fixed several issues.

The 1.1 patch which is still available at Patch Scrolls ( http://www.patches-scrolls.de/patch/1465/24011/42733/download )
Omerta is missing the 1.07 patch which fixes a game breaking bug. Steam has been patched for months.

Entomorph also still has problems with the music.

Known issue that's going to take some time to solve. Sorry :(

We're waiting on patch 1.08 that is supposed to be distributed to all DDs at the same time. Again, this is out of our control at this time.

What about where GOG is missing updated, separate, commercial releases? do those count?
I'm think 'The Last Express - Gold Edition' and 'realMYST Masterpiece edition' (not to be confused with the standard realMyst or the Masterpiece Edition of the original 'flick-book' Myst, both of which GOG has)

I was holding off playing that game until this is fixed. Can you give any ETA on that? A rough estimation (e.g. 2-3 months) would be fine.
Oh the 'HD' versions of Superfrog and the first 2 Serious Sam games too!
(Superfrog is pretty changed though - the original level layouts are only available as an unlock IIRC)

*edit* Baulder's Gate 1 and 2 and MDK 2 have HD-ish versions out there too!

oop - Duke Nukem 3D Megaton (as opposed to Atomic) Ed too!

No ETA as I am really not sure how long it will take, I'd rather not give an ETA than give one and have people expecting something. Sorry if this isn't what you wanted to hear :/

This thread is more intended to highlight missing patches that have been released elsewhere but not on GOG. I do wish a lot of that stuff on your list was here though. I'll consider it though.
The list has been updated to reflect the update to Spelunky. Congrats GOG on the update!

Entomorph: Plague of the Darkfall

Spelunky removed, 1.4 patch released.
You can add Shadow Warrior (2013 remake) to that list, gog is aware of it though as Judas told me they're waiting for the publisher and/or developer to deliver it.

The current gog version is 1.1.1b I think and the current version on steam is 1.1.2. Here is a link to the Steam thread and patch notes: http://steamcommunity.com/app/233130/discussions/0/846965882758858161/
