The biggest fail of my life just happened. So which better way to "celebrate" it than to do a giveway?

I've been around the forum for less than a month now but it's been long enough to witness people doing all sorts of unusual giveaways for the weirdest reasons so this seems to be the perfect opportunity for me to give something back to this awesome community.

---

The games I have to offer are:

FRACT OSC (GOG)

The Cat Lady (Steam)
Deus Ex: Invisible War (Steam)
Fez (Steam)
Spate (Steam)
Antisquad (Steam)
Thief Gold (Steam)
Just Cause (Steam)
KnightShift (Steam)
Sweet Lily Dreams (Steam)
Ballpoint Universe (Steam)

Rules:
1. Only enter for games you genuinely want to play, not just collect.
2. Rule #1 is especially important if you enter for FRACT OSC. It's one of my all-time favorites so I want it to be treated with respect. Tell me a few words about why you'd like to play it.
3. Enter for 1 game only.
4. 10+ rep required.

To spice things up a bit, try to guess which kind of tea I spilt on my laptop to get an extra entry.

Discussion topic:

Did anything similar ever happen to you? If so, how did you deal with it? Did you manage to save your laptop?
If it never happened, how would you react in face of such a heart-breaking disaster?

My laptop is drying right now. I'll draw the winners shortly after I manage to turn it back on (yeah, I'm that optimistic). It's hard enough to type all of this from my phone. (>﹏<)

PS: I'd offer you guys more GOG games but I should probably save for a new laptop or at least a new keyboard. :D

Thanks, I'm in for Spate.

And yes, a similar thing happened to me, not with my PC but with a PS3 Superslim. My brother had the bluray drive opened, with a cup of coffee in his hands. You can figure out how this ended. We can't recover our PS3, I tried to use my hair dryer, but nothing, it didn't read discs anymore.
If spilling tea on your laptop is the biggest fail in your life, I'd have to say you're a pretty fortunate person, and I hope you know and appreciate it. :-)

Cheers for the GA, the nice prizes, and the original reason for giving them away, +1.

Ahoy! It's a very fun giveaway you are making, makes this Monday morning pretty interesting. I am in for Just Cause (Steam).

I had an accident once, when I flawlessly spilled a full cup of delicious coffee on my laptop. First, I just sat down comfortably in my chair and looked at the coffee-soaked laptop for a minute with a smile in my face. Then I thought "This is it, I'm done. Computer won't recover", yet it did! I just turned it off, unpluged from the power source and used a lot of paper towels to clean the coffee under the computer and from the keyboard. Few hours later, I turned computer on... It works without a single problem even now.

As for the tea guessing... Was it a green tea? I often drink green tea instead of coffee .

Well, to be fair it's far from the worst thing that has ever happened to me. I mean a FAIL in the internet meme sense of the word.
But you're right, I still consider myself fortunate and I do appreciate it. :)

I hope that your zombie(?)-like Santa does so too. :-D

I spilled oil on my laptop keyboard once then very carefully cleaned it with soap and a wet cloth. Something must have gotten inside though, because the keyboard wouldn't work properly the next day (some keys would not work, some would be continuously pressed randomly, some would act as if other keys are pressed).
Changing the keyboard solved it. As an additional advantage the new one had US layout instead of the crappy Irish one (although I usually use British English I prefer the US keyboard layout out of habit) and a bigger Enter key.

Not in, but I fancy imagining it happened while playing Sir, You Are Being Hunted. :D
I'm in for Ballpoint Universe. I've been interested in Ballpoint Universe for a while, if only because of just how different the art style is, visually it looks absolutely great (and obviously unique) and I've heard that it's a good game to boot. I would've bought it by now but I never catch it on sale or in a bundle I want, and I've heard it's rather short. I imagine that it's one of those games where even if the gameplay isn't that good, then at least the visuals will keep you interested for a while.

As far as the type of tea, I'm going to guess Earl Grey tea, if only because I love me some Earl Grey. I don't love Raspberry tea though, worst tea I've ever bought.

I don't think I've spilled (or spit for that matter) anything on my laptop(s) but I once managed to crack one laptop's screen in a band practice accident. Yikes.
Thanks for the giveaway. Not in.

I genuinely want to play all the games I collect. :)

Really, I don't buy a game or bundle if I don't think that the games there are something I'd want to play. Well, mostly. And of course there are always games in bundles that I won't want to play. But still...
Not in. But thanks for the generosity for giveaway. :)
Thank you Pardinuz. Even though you might need your money, you're giving games away!
I'm in for "Just Cause". I have the second game, but I want to finish the first one before starting the sequel.....

Black tea? If you so, add a few drops of milk and your laptop would feel great..... Just kidding......
The right thing to do, is to turn it off and remove the battery, then dry for at least 24 hours. I haven't had such an accident with my laptop (yet) but a couple of times I had to rescue a laptop that drank a whole glass of Cola and another one that drank a glass of milk. The Cola laptop made it out alive, but I had to wash the keyboard to remove the dryed sugar......

PS: I got "FRACT OSC" during the current sales. Great game!
Sorry to read that/...

Not in ( I try to limit the use of my steam account to the games I have there,,except fot Total War games I may still add in the future ) , but thanks for the Giveaway +1
Oh, I'm sorry for your accident but... well, accidents do happen - better happen to our gadgets than to us. Imagine yourself falling in a lake of hot tea... :P

Anyway, thanks for the GA! +1

They must build all the laptops with a drain hole on the keyboard like some bussiness models... As for an accident, yes pretty much i had one with my netbook. It fall from the table (1m) because i accidentally got entagled in the charger cables. Thankfully it has a SSD so nothing broke/ nothing lost.. :-)

Not in but I know how you feel. I spilt green tea on my $1000 laptop last year. Broke out the credit card and bought a new one.
