TheEnigmaticT: Resume from sleep is rubbish and fails about 40% of the time to a perpetual hang (like more more 4 minute long hang; I had to kill the process). When it doesn't fail, it usually resumes from sleep somewhere not quite where it went to sleep. Also, it has flat out crashed twice on loading screens.
Ok I'll have to check for that too, my TF hasn't entered sleep mode while I've played the game (or are you referring to sleeping in the game world, not that your tablet goes to sleep mode?). Are you using the newest firmware, Android 4.0.3 if I recall right?

jamyskis: The music is by Danny Baranowsky, who also did Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Isaac. The guy has become a legend in indie gaming for his work
I guess those are two games I'll have to get at some point. But unless they are available DRM-free, they'll have to wait until I feel a real urge to play them right away.

Fenixp: My wife seems to think that is pretty damn stupid, especially for digital distribution. Oh well, i'll show her!
But the GOG shelf! It's pretty!! :D
Besides I get new games (the ones that actually put a dent in the budget) from retail. I prefer having the box even if the game is steamworks for example.

serpantino: It's an interesting idea but I'd rather they stuck with PC bundles.... Android is messy and the phones have such a wide range of specs and more advanced games have a tendency to have a very limited set of phones they work properly on. Avadon is great and worth the $1 on it's own but it being tablet restricts it's market, though if you don't have the pc version it's still worth it
This is a PC+Android bundle, not Android only. You get PC versions of all of them.

Yes I know, that's why I said the pc version of Avadon is worth it alone. Though everyone should pay more than $1 :P.

I thought I'd never buy new boxed games anymore, but as it seems you can continually get boxed versions of the same Origin/Steam games for 15-22€ cheaper boxed, than buying them directly from the said services digitally, funnily it makes more sense to order the cheaper boxed copy, activate it in the service, and then throw the box and CD into trashbin. Games like Mass Effect 3, Skyrim etc. Maybe the digital premium price is for people who can't wait 1-2 days for the box to arrive.

Not very environmental, but what can you do? Except wait ½-1 years for a cheap digital promos on those services, maybe.

But this doesn't currently concern me anyway, as I don't buy brand-new AAA titles anyway.
I'm really glad they put a minimum for Steam keys. I'm sure that was causing most of the abuse - since the keys are consumable they encouraged stockpiling. Now instead of someone paying 1c 50 times that one would pay 1c once or $1 once if the key is important - either way is an improvement.

The Binding of Isaac is - to the best of my knowledge - available DRM-free. It was in a Humble Bundle not long ago and the retail version is also DRM-free.

Super Meat Boy was DRM free in another Humble Bundle, but apart from there I've not seen it outside of Steam.

It doesn't automatically enter sleep, but if I put the tablet to sleep so I can toss it in my laptop bag and hop on the bus or something, it's been crashy. I updated to the newest firmware yesterday.

Incidentally, Google + *still* doesn't work for me after the update. :/

Either way, I should note that I've played about 5 hours on the game since I bought it yesterday, so I have no complaints about the actual fun contained therein. ^_^

Those two games are DRM-free on even on Steam. If I'd known then I'd have bought Super Meat Boy before it was in the Humble Bundle.

Most Steam games check for the client when they start - if found, they ask for permission to run; if not then they launch the client and ask permission once it starts. Team Meat's games simply work without forcing the client to run or asking for permission. The only thing to worry about is Steam autopatching in DRM in the future.

Fair play. I didn't realise that SMB on Steam was install-agnostic, so you can download and install both and simply copy out the install directories to be used separately.

Doesn't beat a good, clean installer like the ones from the HIBs though.

grviper: Weren't A1-3 and BoA the remakes of Exile games?
Yes you are right, blades of avernum was at first blades of exile, just as exile 1-3. I personally just cant get into any of the avernum games in both series. I love geneforge, avadon, and i even play a blades of avernum scenario now and then, but i cannot stand any of the avernum games.
One more time: Anyone interested on gifting me a copy of this for a steam key of World of Goo and Faerie Solitaire?
Interested in this but I have a question for those out there with more expertise in the Android / Tablet area. Are these games (especially Avadon) playable on the Nook or am I going to have to modify it it to full Android? Thanks.
Looking at the sale numbers I guess this is it, the market is fed up. Even the Humble Bundle is looking at a massive drop in sales compared to millions in previous bundles.

Wonder how future bundles will fare.
