Continuing the birthday giveaway that started Here, today I have up for grabs a copy of Expeditions:Conquistador.

RULES:

No rules today. Everyone welcome, anyone can play! (yes, you can enter on someone else's behalf)

Requirements today: Got a bit of a puzzle today. First one to solve it will find the code. Likely this is going to go quick (GOG people tend to be a pretty clever bunch), but so be it. Have fun and enjoy the game, whoever gets it! Here are the clues:

Chlorthalidone (CID)
Fluorine
Tungsten
PricewaterhouseCooper (People's Republic of China, India, Brazil, Mexico, Russia, Indonesia, Turkey)
Robot Police Chief (Magnus, Robot Hunter 4000)
Canadian Vickers-bult Vessel (Launched 22 May, 1915)
Yves Montand (1969)
Jaguares (2008)
Retinol

As usual, I'll announce the winner when I hit the forums tomorrow morning and as an added 'bonus' I'll mark the winner with the solution to the thread for a bit of rep boost as well.

Not in & +1! :D
Not In!

This was a game I was looking for during insomnia, and snatched up day one of this sale - been playing it since and it hasn't disappointed - thanks for doing this Coelocanth and someone get to work cracking that code so you can play this one!

Yeah, I thought it was a great game. Someone on the game's forum said they thought it should have been candidate for Game of the Year, and I can't say I disagree. Fabulous game.

I hope they have plans to do a series - I'd love to see another one set on "America" proper, maybe spreading coastal settlements during the early colonial times and I'd REALLY like to see something during Queen Anne's and the French and Indian wars - all those outposts stretching across the NE / West, into Canada - thick woods, trapping, supporting nascent shipping and trade along the seaways... I get tingly all over!

Yeah, that would be great. I checked out their forums (on the devs' site) when I played through the game and it looks like they're planning a series (or at least one or two more) after they finish the current game they're working on. Of course, there's no guarantee, but I'm crossing my fingers for it.
Great puzzle! I've almost got it except for 1 clue that I can't figure out :)

PMd you to see how close I was with that info from your post :)
Great to know that I was almost there, thanks for confirming that Aniki :)

That is the most fun puzzle I have done in a long time! Definitely not the 'wind down' I was trying for at almost 2am though lol

Oh and I wasn't even interested in the game as I already have it but just wanted to see if this thing on my shoulders still works...sometimes :)

Well, that was quick (faster than I thought it would be). Enjoy the game. It's a good one!
