KiNgBrAdLeY7: Hey, it's not fair! Allow girls too, to have a chance at prize! At least one! I am not it myself (boy), just assume i was in for the giveaway, and let a girl who wants a lot one of the prizes, participate in my stead...
Come on people, this thing is not funny... Boys and girls are equal, and must play together. Otherwise, it is neither funny, nor fair.
YOU WOT M8T3?
Tekkaman-James: Congratulations to
Ingsoc85 and
toxicTom! And many thanks to
ddickinson for her generosity and thought-provoking giveaways!
Very cool to see that four of the Top Five most favorite genres are the same for both men and women. Different orders, sure, but that's very pleasantly surprising. I think this conclusion means we should finally retire the "gamer girl" monicker and just all be labeled "gamers". Crazy talk, I know, but the evidence backs me up!
I posted this quite awhile ago, and your post reminded me of how relevant it still is...plus it's Wil Wheaton being awesome so that's a reason to post it anytime, really.

Once again Lady D. Dickinson I wish to heartily thank you for a wonderfully generous giveaway with some insightful discussions. Both the prior "Girls of GOG" and now the "Guys of GOG" provoked some excellent discourse.
So, now that we know both male and female gamers enjoy strategy games, why aren't more of us playing massive multiplayer games of Crusader Kings , Hearts of Iron, and Europa Universalis? ;)
