I'm tempted to buy this, but it just seems so cruel.
edit: bought it, purely to see what happens when they realise their mistake

I picked up a few of the THQ games, during that short 'mistake' period where they were sold in Australia before they had the rights to do so. Got to keep them, rather have them taken away and (or not) refunded.
Business Practises could of changed, but looks like you have a bargain.
Let us know how it turns out. I'm personally quite interested to see if they'll go the route of just eating the cost of their mistake, or forcibly reversing the transaction for everyone who bought the game while it was listed at the wrong price.
There's also another new game that's $10, listed as 25% off the usual cost of $13.33. That has to be a mistake too.
Well, they have never tried to claim the difference when they have made such mistakes in the past. Now if only I knew someone who could gift it to me >__>
Hah, game's back up to $7.49 already.

I considered gifting it to people, but decided this would be a bit malicious.
In fact, as it is, my conscience isn't making me feel very good right now. I'm not quite wracked with remorse but I feel slightly predatory.
edit: the prices remain the same on my end, by the way

Not really. They've been over charging people in all regions for a long time. So why feel bad about it? Take for example, the obscene prices for other Activision games in AU/NZ as just one example that affects you directly.

That is a very good point, bansama! Thank you. I just hope that it's Activision who foots the bill for the mistake, and not the small developer who actually made the game.
edit: aliasalpha, did you also get THREE "thank you for your purchase" emails? I think Steam has exploded.
Ooh, I wonder if the fabled "what if Steam dies?" doomsday scenario is coming to pass as we speak? We're part of history here.

bansama. Same as here, but it's a Friend's only profile so you may need to request to be added first.
Honestly, I'm not sure that game looks like it's even worth the 10 cents. =P

It'll be Valve who foot the bill. It's their mistake. And they have plenty of money to cover it.
If anyone is willing to gift... :p
