ddickinson: Well it would have to be a giveaway, there are no homeless in my village, nor any of the surrounding villages, I think. But I do help out sometimes with some different charities in the nearby towns, so I guess I could always bake a cake for them. :-)
Are you even human, is there anything you don't do? Admirable, I must admit :O

ddickinson: So lets do it now then, but if you guess it correctly, I will let you know via PM, just so that the forum wont know. Why? Because it is full of some strange people :-). But also because it lets me play this game with someone else in the future. Is it a deal?
Sure thing! In that case let's move the name guessing game to PM completely, makes more sense that way.

You know, I don't want to tell people my first name either (Walter is only my second name), now I don't mind posting pictures because tourists have already taken so many pictures when I'm painting outdoors that I have no privacy anyway, got kinda used to it. The moment you do anything even remotely not 100% usual on the street, everyone takes pictures of you nowadays as if they were at the zoo, it's futile to educate people about the fact that taking pictures without permission is utmost rude (even if its' completely legal in public) so I often have people send me the photos they take, that way I can turn something that I perceived as negative into something useful.

ddickinson: I have never been a fan of modern Olympic archery. All those pulleys and counter-weights take away much of the fun, not that it is easy, bit I still prefer how they did it up until recently, with a traditional bow. This left much of the skill to the archer, not technology.
I had a feeling you were old school about archery! Those modern bows look so retarded, I really prefer the classic look with just wood though I have no idea about functionality but all those shenanigans on modern bows looks stupid to my eyes.

I would not say admirable, many people do a lot more than I do. I just help out when and if I can. One of my favourite charities near me is one that cares for the elderly. I love listening to their stories, its surprising how much you can learn from elderly people, stuff that only experience with life could teach you. I like to help people, I always have. I may not be the most charitable, but I try to do what I can.

It does indeed. So send your first guesses to me via PM and the game can begin. If you guess correctly, then I will host a giveaway. If you guess it in the first 5 names, then I will host an extra special giveaway. Of course, if you guess it straight away, it's either exceptional good luck, or sneaky cheating. ;-)

The more modern bows do have their advantages (they are easier to use, for example), but I think for the Olympics, where it's supposed to be a test of raw human skill, using all the modern technology is pointless. It's like that with a lot of the Olympics and other competitions now, not just archery. They use more modern technology, then boast when they beat a record. I always liked the Olympics more when it was down to human skill, not aerodynamic costumes, lighter and more specialised equipment, or even all those energy drink.

Admirable is a point of view. You seem to do more good than I do, hence the admiration from me because I only do good spontaneously, not in any regular organized way. Even taking into account the occasional fun threats of yours :D (bear traps, death pits & Co.)

The forum search function is complete crap, I won't even try. Why ruin the guessing fun for myself. No way I can find it out in the first 5 names though, even if I get a couple general hint questions in first.

I don't really watch sports on TV at all, maybe if they would revive the old Pankration that would be fun to watch!
