What gets me is the cheek of advertising it as being 6 games (I know KQC is 7 games in itself but I'm counting it as one for now) when it's 4 + two bonus games IF they sell enough.
Also, they're shooting themselves in the foot making it so the best game in the bundle only unlocks if they sell enough. People are going to hold off buying it because they don't want to gamble on the fact that the game they want might not unlock. HURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I'm not sure if anyone's noticed, but Puzzle Agent is now unlocked, and Sam and Max S2 will unlock at 5000 bundles sold.
And only 1385 bundles have been sold so far.

Very tempted to get this. I love adventure games and for once it's an offer in which I don't own any of the games. Problem is every forum I go to people are moaning about problems with it, and I'm not all that trusting of/keen on telltale anyway since they tried to rape me on monkey island shipping charges.
Was anyone actually able to buy the bundle and play without any problems? and does anyone know the exact nature of the DRM used? (sorry if it's already been mentioned, I skimmed through.)

Seriously hope they unlock Sam and Max S2 coz mine is on Steam when I bought it for 50% discount then, I have S1 and S3 on Telltale. I need S2 on Telltale to feel like I own the whole series, ugh!

Yup, have to say that that would have turned me right off the bundle if I didn't already own most of the games and was actually interested in buying it. The way it's currently presented just feels wrong. Advertising 6 games when you'll most likely only actually get 5 of them? Feels like false advertising to me.

I am in exactly the same situation! Whether TT unlocks season 2 will make the difference between whether I buy it or not, even though I already have it :(

So, they apparently extended this bundle for a week, now I have to wait some more to see if S&M 2 is going to unlock or not :(
They should just unlock it now and see those sale numbers go up fast (maybe :p )

and if that is removed they'll probably throw a tantrum about on how you cannot choose your own price

Well, the DRM on The Whispered World in this bundle is causing problems (stuttering and out of sync videos, sluggish mouse, longer load times)
Other than installation problems/corrupted downloads, the most that people moan about is the unlock thing, not the price.

Just an update to my earlier post, hopefully it can help other people in the situation I was in: I posted about being on the fence about buying it because of the technical difficulties, DRM issues and whatnot, but I actually ended up winning it on twitter. I've installed four games so far, issues have been minor and easily fixed. First I couldn't log in to the launcher (had wrong password because I'm a dumbass, but in my defense there's no error message) and secondly an error on installing after downloading a game, which was caused by vista - running as an admin fixed it.
The games can be run without the launcher after installation just by launching from the launcher folder - I've tried this with Penny Arcade, Jack Keane, Puzzle Agent and King's Quest so far without any problems. As far as possible DRM with the games themselves goes, Penny Arcade, Jack Keane, and Puzzle Agent at least perform an internet check on launch. Blocking Penny Arcade still allows the game to run, but from what I can gather it's just a one-time activation for it so maybe that's why. I haven't tried Whispering World yet but this is supposed to be the most crippled game with DRM, I'm waiting and hoping that some patch goes out for the issues it's having before installing.
Personally from what I've tried I'd say it's worth it, even without the Whispering World. I guess it depends on which of the games you already own though.

The whispering world (after re-downloading for the ""no video" problem)run fine for me without any other problem ( i play 2 hours last night and all run fine). Penny Arcade and king's quest always run fine for me. i will not install puzzle agent and jack keane cause I already own them, so I don't know if the have some iusse on my pc (Windows 7 64).
It's a great bundle, and I think in the end telltale will unlock sam and max 2 even if they don't sell 5000 bundle. But even without it it's a great price for great games. (I'm in love with the whispered world =D )

So, Sam & Max Season 2 will be unlocked tomorrow, anyone on the fence before should get it now.
